Great thread title, great experience

ROOOOOOOOOOOOOFL!!!

Would any of you be interested of doing online tournaments once in a while and having them streamed?

I have a hauppage and have been thinking of doing this more…

I do my tournaments for fun though (plus Game Galaxy has the serious tourneys covered well) so no entry fee and silly rules like everyone picks random select or you have to use your opponents main and not your own and things like that…

Only if you do a tourney where everyone has to use Oni.

Its a possibility cause I had thought of an all Sim tourney at one point… Monday night yoga… hahaha

This needs to happen. Don’t care about streaming, I mean… Its just online, but still.

Don’t care as in you don’t want it to be streamed or don’t care as in it doesn’t matter if it is or isn’t?..

We had thought about doing either a ‘All Yun Tier Whore Fest Ranbat" or a “All Dan Derpity Derpity Dooo” at Luis’ house back in July, but then we started playing beer pong and forgot about it

Yeah that’s the kind of stuff I typically do…

You guys can check out previous tourneys I have done to get an idea of what I mean on my youtube channel… the link is in my sig…

As in I wouldn’t care either way. If you’re planning to do a serious tournament, then sure. Even then, I’d rather just see them on youtube.

I feel you on that arson… I need to look into what free or not ridiculously pricey program I can use to convert the video into a format that I can edit them with to add music and things like that…

Also these tourneys don’t HAVE to be all about SSFIV… MK 2011, MvC 3, SF2THDR, etc can be done to with enough interest…

Every time I see this thread title, I want a fig newton. Damn Richard and his lack of spacebar abilities!

MvC3 wouldn’t work. It doesn’t have spectator mode… lol

slaps forehead…umm… I meant ultimate MvC when it comes out… yeah that’s what I meant…

Hey do you have PSN? If so add me. My gamertag is pJan.

No I don’t anymore… I gotta get another one cause mine was F’ed up during the flood… :frowning:

hatergonhate

I suggested this not long after Super SF4 came out and no one was interested. Might change now, but for some reason most communities around the country have no interest in using the online tournament modes

I am not against online tourney modes all together but in general the connectivity is always so spotty and its hard to predict when it will and wont work. I can play a set with Cylus that is totally unplayable then go and get in a set with Dream and have no issues. Josh is just outside Memphis and we either get an amazing or terrible connection. So IMO its harder to be interested in something like that. Especially since the local scenes are so good.

Yeah that’s the reason I don’t want to do serious tourneys… I mean yeah your goal is to win but without any money invested and it being known as a “joke” tourney I think some of those issues can be overlooked…

But like I said its all about participation so if there isn’t enough interest then that’s that…
