it just means you cant teleport spam. He’s still top 3 in the game. Nothing has changed that at all. Towards 2 4 is still silly, jump punch Superman still silly, and he’s what, -1 on his Back 321? LOL…he’s still crazy.

I’ve got my own Hugo stuff. It’s called BUTT OVERHEADS THAT JUMPS LOWS AND ACTS AS AN ANTIAIR! lol
I went nearly even (about 4-6) with Jacob’s Dudley yesterday, so that’s a huge improvement. Just had to be really random and take big risks. But yes, I’d like this “Hugo technology” you’ve got.
Hugo tech is fun…Phil saw it…creates a wall where your biggest weakness (people jumping at you and attacking you all day) is completely changed…
I didn’t even know Jacob was going to be at the tournament…then I heard he won…

Looks like in SF X Tekken they changed up the placement of Guile’s SH. It’s close as hell to his body now. And that cross attack is sexy.

I’ve been watching a bunch of old videos on Rolento and he looks pretty fun to play as. He looks like a character whom I’d like to play because he can do runaway and rushdown. I wanna learn a little about him before SF X Tekken comes out, can you give me any insight on his playstyle/strategy from past games? And better yet maybe show me some stuff on the 8th if you’re there for the tournament on the Alpha 3 cab?

I’m not sure how much of that stuff will correlate to SFXT but his game involved a lot stand jab pokes to crouch jab pokes to knife in the air (think Ibuki’s Kunai but instant and quicker, you had to do a DP motion to jump and then press the button again…all of this stuff worked in CVS2 as well. Jump MP and crouch MP hit multiple times, his sweep was like Guy’s, his crouch HP is like Rufus’ and his anti airs were stand MP and Stand FP (sometimes). Crouch MK into Rekka Ken combo was his bread and butter, and he can fly off the wall like Vega without charge moves into a jumping HK into stand Jab throw games…he also had a weird Super Jump and a Down + MK pogo stick (like Guy’s Elbow for frame advantage) in the air…he was one of my main characters in Alpha 3 and I played with him a bit in CVS2 but he was mostly an A Groove character in that so I didn’t mess with him as much…I’ll definitely be there on the 8th so I’ll show you what I know…

Yeah I noticed people really using his jabs for sure but I didn’t see much use of the pogo though. His roll looks so fun to mess around with too. General runaway with it but also I liked how you could do that spring forward move after the roll into a jumping attack.
Good to hear you’ll be there on the 8th. I’ve been to Game Galaxy twice since I’ve been back but Richard and crew have been running all the tournaments since I’m sure you have the baby and everything. I don’t know if I even put the article up on here but back home in NJ somebody is opening an arcade in a really nice downtown section of Red Bank. They are running it kind of how you do with the SF hourly set up except with all games. Sick hours too since there is a big bar scene! I’ll be sure to try and check if they have plans to do events and if not I’ll probably try and talk with the owners. I recorded a video of the tournament a couple weeks ago when we had that good turnout so I can’t see how he could watch that and not want business.
