i dont see dormammu or how the fuck everyone gets that. dude hasnt been a big deal in the 616 in a long time, whereas mephisto popularity is still relatively high thanks to one more day. im thinking its him. i will remember this quote when characters are announced, wether to feed or eat crow.

The one on the poster is without a doubt Dormammu, and my guess is that it is going to be the ‘shuma gorath’ of marvel vs capcom 3, its always welcome to have characters that are unknown to main stream audiences but awesome for dr strange fans - dormammu is what i’m looking forward to the most in this game at the moment, unless they were to add dr strange himself
The person in the silhoutte on the trailer though is not dormammu, there is no fire silhouette and the pointy collar is different, dormammu’s points down (as it does in the poster shot), and the person in the trailer’s points up, i thought this was obvious but seeing as no one has mentioned it yet…
I would be tempted to say that this person was indeed the Mandarin, but the upwards pointing collar makes me think otherwise as i’ve not seen him wear that sort of outfit before
Funnily enough the person who’s collar closely resembles the one in the trailer is in fact Baron Mordo, again, Dr Strange’s enemy, but my gut feeling tells me that they would only add 1 dr strange enemy

If it is really Baron Mordo, I would assume he was in to replace Dr. Strange due to licensing, like Super Skrull.
There’s no way that there is both Baron Mordo and Dormammu.

alls i can say is if anybody from mvc2 is missing, then i’m pissed. They should not be editing out characters regardless of only 5 were commonly used in mvc2.

Ya i guess so… the old mvc2 posters had limited characters on it… the non secret ones. I just hope the old godtier and strider are there… i’ve been struck with that bad feeling earlier on. I want more news and images.

Bengus was the Alpha 2/Nightwarriors artist…but people tell me that he also did the art for sfA3, Mvc2, and VS…if this is true, wft happened? Did he have a stroke or something? Compared to what came before it, those games have some lousy art. Okay on their own, but nowhere near as good as the previous works.
