I haven’t played this since those few side tournaments at FFA many months ago. I forgot how hit or miss some of the bgms are in this game. Love these two in particular for training mode:

Anyways I’ll be training some F-Akiha every once in awhile. Where do people play this in socal? I’d like to get some matchup/non-computer practice sometime before Evo.
Generally we meet up at someone’s place, since console is standard in America. If I’m not hosting, Xie should be able to; he’s in Irvine, I’m in Temecula. While the game is at AI it doesn’t get any real burn there.
I’m in Menifee if you want to get some games in. I want to start training in this.
Wow how did I miss this, I’ve been wanting to learn how to play Melty since I imported MBAC on PS2 back in 2006, really appreciate this…

For those planning to buy the game, NCSX and Japan Video Games both readily have it in stock, so that would be less expensive and less time consuming than ordering it from Play-Asia.
JVG also has the special edition (which comes with a double-CD OST) still in stock.
I plan on receiving the game this week… Could use some peeps to play with… (hint hint)
I don’t travel as much for casuals anymore (getting old etc) but if I asked people to come I’m sure they’d be willing to on the weekends. Barring that you can go on go on IRC and look for Xie or check the SoCal threads on MeltyBread.com.
You would only be like a 15 minute drive for me so I’d have no problem cruising to your place for games.

Well, I have a little bit of time on weekday nights but I’m mostly a weekend person. PM me or something. Apparently people are going to a tourney next weekend, might be able to run some side games there.

I have afternoon classes on friday so I’ll barely ever have time to go :sad:, however I can go to CCAC (North Side) early in the morning, people bring their systems to the Cougar’s Den to play video games there…

I voted for MBAA at Evo. I hope it gets in. 
On a random note, if anyone holds an MBAA tournament around here, I want to bring some of these snacks and drop them as necessary.
(I found them in a store today. I bought them solely because of the name. :lol: )

I hate it when I try to get people into this game, who then say they don’t like it and can’t give me a reason why. Not even “I just don’t”, but “I dunno”.
It’s a hit or miss.
Yesterday, I had bunch of SF4 players over (in a attempt to expand player base in Chi) and most of them have never played or seen MB. Some of the dudes already said they dug it a lot more than SF4 after couple of hours.
Hmm… We’ll work something out.
I’m trying to get my friends into Melty just so I have someone to play. I’ve never found a game that I loved so much, too bad I’m stuck in training mode most of the time since I have nobody to play it with :bluu:
There are fair number of players in MD. You should get in touch with them at Melty Bread. Dunno about Boston.
