Crossups work the same as MBAC, when the attacker is facing away from the defender, the defender can block either way. The attacker has to find a way to turn themselves around in order to get a successful crossup (IE, fCiel’s IH j.22b). In addition, projectiles such as white len’s ice and kohaku’s plants can be blocked either way if the person who spawned them crosses up regardless of the direction they are facing. This means when kohaku lays a plant, double jump over her opponent (which changes her direction midair), the defender can block the plant either way.
yeah, completely my bad there. i wasn’t sure because i asked the guy i regularly play against (since i use crossups vs him and he doesn’t vs me) and he said he was blocking forward and i completely forgot that it can be blocked both ways and not just one. i would have tried it in training mode but i found it kinda hard to set up a training dummy to cross me up.

In order to make this, I would have to call off every day that weekend (and have it count against me), and I would lose like over half my paycheck. I don’t have any vacation or personal hours as of right now. And then on top of that I’m broke right now, so no money for hotel and other expenses. So it’s not that I don’t wanna go, but I am the definition of Midwest Poverty right now. I’m gonna see if there’s any way at all to make this, but my chances are very very low
This is truly a shitty time to be stuck in Germany . I’m actually grateful that I’m leaving in two months. It’s really hurting me to miss both NEC10 and FF2…not much I can do about that except make a great comeback at FRXIII. :sad:
