i feel that people held back on purchasing/playing game because of the online play. But from the sounds of it by the time this is finally released all of the potential new players will not be interested anymore…
too bad cuz this game is really fun and easy to pick up…

Any improvement is an improvement. Hopefully we get some decent netcode eventually.
Generally, how many new buys will XII get though? This is mostly to keep us around for the next one, and maybe buy us some DLC. I’m going to tie any DLC purchases to the netcode improvements.
Chars is a different story- unless it’s Temjin, I’ll probably buy it.
I’m still putting my faith in Ignition, seeing as they’re the US publisher of the game, that they’re looking out for us and really mean “US to Japan/Europe.”
And yes, if the netcode is brought up to at least BB quality, you can bet you’ll see 8-man SRK lobbies pop up :karate:

At least BlazBlue quality? That’s asking for a little much considering BB has arguably the best console net code yet. I would be happy with SFIV quality network play.
How good IS Mexican internet? Every time I play a mexican player on ANYTHING it seems those guys are using freaking yarn with cat5 plugs for their connections. Is everything bootleg down there or what?

Actually, you’re right, BB level is quite a lot to ask. At least the experience will be kinda similar, seeing as we can have lobbies and all. SF4 netcode is what we should hope for then, :pleased: but now we have lobbies!
Solid latency, no drops unless you do something to your connection yourself, 1.5 mb per second or better.
There’s some people who didn’t even get into 3S until years later. I’m not worried about when others get into it. In-fact, I’m kinda glad it’s not what’s hot right now and every scrub out there picks it up cause the next guy on XBL has it in their recently played games list.
