Netcode Hitting 360 Soon!

Patch or no Patch, this game is the shit… I’ve been playing day in day out and have had only minor problems…

Who wants to get smashed by my psycho team:cool:

Hey…some people like me don’t have real-life friends (I’m kidding). My friends don’t like KOF XII at all, that’s the problem.

I think if they do to 3rd Strike exactly what they did with MVC2 then it’d be perfect. There’s no need to completely remix it like SF II. If they did that, so many people would be disappointed. Plus, they didn’t rebalance MVC2 and I’m glad they didn’t. MVC2 is what got me into fighting games in the first place. A lot of people use Cable and Sentinel online (so goddamn cheap). One time I even got raped by an actual MSP team (Magneto, Sentinel, Psylocke) and got infinite’d in the face. There is no stopping MSP! I don’t complain about it though. That’s just the way life is. When life gives you Magneto, you do infinites. If they ever re-released 3rd Strike, they should make Gill unlockable so I could really show people what’s up, LOL.

Then kinda decent I think.

I dunno but I wouldn’t be surprised if that would be the case

I was amazed actually quite some people now have fast connections when I was there last year

as for my experience I mostly have good connections with mexicans living here in the west coast

when I was in mexico though i had laggy matches, even playing at 12:00 am to 3:00 am. but I thought it was quite good since I was stealing wireless connection anyway, lol

I figure this deserves to move back up simply because it hasn’t devolved into a flame war.

There is nothing worst on this planet than a Brazilian internet connectio. Those guys are using cups and string as their foundation for the country’s infrastructure. Avoid at all cost!!!

I think they will, it’s the only thing putting me off from buying it right now. I assume that goes for a lot of people too, especially people who don’t have a close group of friends who are into fighting games.

Mexican Internet is the way is it because it was one of Ricardo Martinez’s victims as he was growing up. He then went down to Brazil and beat up the Brazilian internet as well because he needed some ingredients to make his own whoopass from scratch (He doesn’t need that canned whoopass like some people. ^_^)

Seriously, N.American, Chinese, Indonesian and Aussie internets are the worst due to distance. Even GGPO doesn’t save Mexico. I had better matchups with Japanese then any of those, and I’m east coast.

Also, places that have great firewalls tend to have extra lag added to boot.

Personally, I’m one of those guys holding off to hear feedback on the online play post patch. I planned on buying it at launch, but I read too many bad reviews about the netcode. So once it’s up to snuff, I’ll be buying it. Inexcusable this day and age. Lol

Gotta admit, playing other games till the patch is done. Hope they hurry!

It would be nice if Ignition could say something about the patch, like how long is it taking and stuff like that. Because just seen days pass by with no info about it makes me think they aren’t making any progress. =/

Hopefully I’m wrong, well I’m kinda sure I’m wrong.

Earthquake in Japan (Sunday) + Obon holidays = Good Luck about people thinking about US gamers waiting for a patch :frowning:

 ....hey us Americans are important to you know.

Well, I’ve been playing a few matches online and I don’t really have much problems during my fights, except for a couple of instances of synchronizing and the lag causing me to pick Elizabeth instead of Terry, but that was mostly my fault for pressing down too much. :stuck_out_tongue:

Temjin is the shiznit.

2D Muscle Buster + Stupid win poses = Great Justice

Make it happen SNKP

Gee, how longs this thing gonna take?

The Valve/Squenix Stance. “When its done…”

^this

If we didnt complain we’d probably never get a patch for a while.

SNKP needs a major wake up call and I don’t know how the fuck a bankruptcy wasn’t one the first time.

The important thing is that it gets done right. The real fans of KOF gameplay will stick with this.

Odds are they won’t do another fix.

Honestly I think they have to put a lot of support into this game…if they dont the will really lose out when they put out KOF 13. I am just hoping that we only need this one patch to fix things. I am looking forward to seeing what kind of DLC they will put out though.
