I hope we get some good news, online is the only thing stopping me from playing this more than SF4. I did have a few decent games just now though. Seems like yellow bars are the best to play on since blue doesn’t work and red is just terrible.

Days I’m off running into some decent comp once in a while, but I really need some offline comp to figure out where I stand in this. I’m worried about a false sense off security from online.

I work during the afternoon/night. I usually play before 1 pm or after 11 pm. Although, I’m terrible at this game.

Nah, it has a chance. Since when has crap netcode kept a game out of Evo? I know at least regionally, in the typical SNK hotspots, the game is going to get serious play.

I wouldn’t be shocked if this game replaces 3s. It has one huge advantage- it’s on PS3, and has been well received. They throw 3s out , all Evo has to have is PS3s, that makes things a lot simpler.

Only if Udon stays the fuck away from that game. Remixed music I’ll take, rebalanced gameplay I demand, but the art is already beautiful. Guess you could always turn off the HDR’d gfx a la STHDR

3rd strike HD Remix would be good if they also rebalanced the gameplay. Starting to get sick of seeing the same characters in tournaments: Chun, Yun, and Ken. There is the occasional Makoto and Urien user. If they’re not gonna even bother doing that then no point adding remix in the name.
