Thanks dude!
Actually, check the Kitty Board thread here because there are different manuals. One for a TE, and one for a TE-S, and one for a Hori VLX.
I have a TE-S, so I had to buy the extra cables, but other than that I will work on it after exams.
I just wanted to give a big thank you to jdm714. Im in the So. Cal area and he was very fast, professional and quickly replied to my e-mails/txts. He dual modded my TE-S. Thanks man!
Iām new to the fight stick scene. My friend suggested that I get the SFIV SE and mod it. I was wondering if you had any suggestions for me and how we could meet up to get this thing modded. Iām in Fayetteville, AR. I was thinking about putting Sanwa OBSF-30, 30 mm pushbottons, Sanwa JLF-TP-8YT-SK Joystick, and the Sanwa GT-Y octagonal restrictor plate. I heard that the Octagonal restrictor plate was kind of like cheating though. But anyways, if you know anything else you can do that would be great then please let me know.
What you want done is pretty simple on the SEā¦ just open it up from the bottom and those are simple replacements no need for anything fancyā¦ screw driver and your setā¦ as far as more mods such as dual mods go there are tutorials here and if you arent comfortable with electronics hopefully you have a local modder help you outā¦ if not you can see a huge list of modders that can take care of that for you. good luck with your projects!
He replied to my post to ask me if I could mod for him, since Iām local. Sent a PM reply so we donāt clog up this thread.
Ok nice. Thank you for all the info! Noob question though. What is dual-mods?
Dual-Mod is a mod that allows you to have your fightstick played on both the 360 and PS3 and possibly the PC.
Hello New York?
More exactly, a dual mod allows 1 stick, to work on 2 or more game systems by adding a 2nd Circuit board to the stick.
Example you can have a dual mod of SNES and PS2, Game cube and Dreamcast, Atari 2600 or Sega Saturn
Xbox 360 and PS3 in the same arcade stick is the most common, but it can be done with a huge number of gaming systems.
I do not consider a Paewang board or any PS360/ PS360+ boards as a dual mod unless it is paired with another PCB.
^More in detail. But the majority I see mod it to work on PS3/360/PC(Unless itās an Xbox-360 Madcatz TE, cause those work on PC already)
Iād like to recommend royaflushtz from SoCal. Did a dual mod of my stick and I had a pleasant experience with him. He was quick, professional, and responded with updates.
I am the official modder for the London 2012 Olympic games.

Anyone still on the first post IS active. They had personally responded to my message to tell me so. PM them and they should respond.
