If neutral means both of you look super crazy right now then yeah I remain neutral!
Crazy? You didn’t just laugh and enjoy it? What happened to the old days of shittalk and having fun? Everyone is still too nice to each other.
btw on an unrelated note, I would like to revive KoF, and WNB is making it a possibility. It won’t happen without support though. All the KoF heads who used to show up to WNB, do you think we can organize our efforts for NEXT wednesday? We got a week and some change to promote it. I think we can make it happen. AE is dying, don’t let KoF die too! I dream of a time when people play nothing but good games and that dream can be a reality! Sign up at your local SNK enlistment office today!
Wait I thought they were trying to run it this Wednesday (9/5) or will it be next week’s Wednesday (9/12)?
That look way more like being hateful to me! Me saying I own Roski for free in KOF is shittalking! Oh yeah that reminds me I own Roski for free in KOF!
See…why can’t more NC players be like this. Hates bring out the best and the truth in people. Continue on Jon…to jail just like your dad. That man cave has now become a home owner. Say hi to your sex whale i mean landman/landlord…i mean steven kings “IT”/ girlfriend.
You have learned much hate but i am still the…Master of Hate.
If you play both vids at the same time it makes for a nice effect. Goodnight.

How can a guy that doesn’t even own a bar of soap become a home owner? I’m on to your lies. Rape shack down by the river with broken down 3S arcade cab hooked up to a generator that runs on bad youtube videos and axe kicked arcade sticks doesn’t count as home ownership. As far as insulting each others girls, having poor enough judgment to date you is already insult enough. I don’t need any jokes for that one.
Well when you ask Blake “again” he will tell you where my house is because he has been by to play KOF sometime ago. And it was a shitty ass SVC chaos stick…that shit deserved to be axe kicked. I like my dojo; good room space, nice bed, bathroom and kitchen , “rooms to go” and no futon’s covered in bird shit.
Jon, you do recognize you had bird shit in your head, right? The fact that you thought that animal defecation was ok to have on your body lets me know that your are much more poor than i thought you were. I have never been poor and never will be, and that’s the point. What i show people is to keep them out of my business and to keep people under the notion that you are one thing when you are really another. Adult life rule #2: “Share, but never show all.”
Note: Why would you run your mouth about somebody that physically axe kicked with true “form and power” a solid object? Sounds like you want to get kicked.
Maybe you should return to the hobbit hole you crawled out of near fall of the neuse.

Soft hearted ass bubble blowing baby. Let the hatred flow for as long as the seeds of butthurt, analgrievance, and assdevastation continue to blossom, the mark of my dignity shall rustle the jimmies of NC’s DNA.
NC has gotten real soft. I heard catherine is the most currently played game in the state, how do you even play that shit on a stick? Do you mod them into sybians? Whoever gets off last gets to bust on the box of that anime bitch eating pizza?
I would be HAPPY if you axe kicked me. Make sure to do it right on my head too so you get that bird shit off. Then I can file the police report, get you kicked out of whatever venue you’re in, and then send your ass off to jail where none of us ever have to see you again. But I know you won’t do that, you’re too smart for that right? Bones heal, police records, not so much.
But anyway, I’m going to stop filling the thread with this garbage. It’s turned into nothing but desperate personal jabs. You would think a Psych major would be more subtle but I guess ignorant black guy got his feelings hurt and wants to get me back. I’ll bring some tissues with me next time I’m at WNB and we can talk about it, ok little guy?
Frodo crawled out of his hobbit hole and changed the world. Your closest LoTR representatitve, the Orcs, they mostly just rolled around in the mud and died. You make fitting analogies. =)

You see that’s what I’m talking about. Y’all can’t even beef right, talking about wizards and hobbits and shit? Is that how shit pops off around here? For real? Say one more motherfucking word and see who gets invited to Krabby Patty Thursdays.
NC Thread LXVIII - Don’t Get Baited
use twitch
the return of SupremeDNA has officially made this well worth my time lol
moving on
I dont get the hate for AE. I actually happen to like what its become over its different iterations. The game isnt going anywhere, so hating on it isnt going to change a single thing.
I thoroughly enjoy the competition and watching players grow. I like seeing games develop into something different than it originally started as. Sometimes this is a good thing, other times its catastrophically bad. I also like being a part of the community for the most part. Im drawn to the varied personalities and like seeing what I can pull or learn from each person I encounter.
There are a couple things that have been on my mind as of late. I was going to keep it to myself but I figured the thread is already gone to shit already right?
The first thing I want to address is KoF. I have to ask, is the game dying? Seriously think about it. Not just here but as a whole. Ive been reading different forums and seeing posts from different areas that are also having this same thought. Theres no shortage of people throwing praise at the game and a whole slew of people TALKING about it, but tournament numbers have been dwindling and its like the drive people had for it is just wasting away. What gives? As noted this isnt something thats localized. In fact I was reading a discussion between MD/VA guys on facebook and they are saying that finding gatherings and getting people to actually ENTER tournaments has become akin to pulling teeth. The game is seriously too good to die so unceremoniously. I would think that with the show that was given at EVO it would bring players to the game but it appears to have done the opposite. I know more than anyone that REAL LIFE is a huge factor but that doesnt mean that we cant still discuss new strategy and at least let it be known that the game still has a place here. It was mentioned having it run every last Wednesday of the month at WNB, and I feel like I can make that commitment to be there. I just dont want to see the game go away like it has been.
My next issue, and this isnt meant to offend, is something thats been discussed in the so called “Tekken Illuminati”…but its been said by quite a few people directly to me and indirectly that they are interested in TTT2 because NC now has “resources” to get good. What in the FUCK is that supposed to mean? Having Justin (LingMassacre) here is a real boost but to make it out like thats the only way youre gonna learn to play is some straight up…pardon my french… BULLSHIT!!! NC has had resources. But just like people stay on others cases about not putting in work in other games, its the same with Tekken. The work isnt going to be done for you. The same way that youre gonna have to GO TO Justin to play, with all of the rest of us that have been here, is the same way that you wouldve had to come to any of the rest of us, and contrary to popular belief theres quite a few of us. There are sessions EVERY week, sometimes two a week. And im going to start hosting sessions STRICTLY for KoF/Tekken again. Its not like we havent HAD very good, even national level players in this state. Besides what does it matter WHO youre playing as long as that person youre playing is better than you and able to teach you something you didnt already know? Thats equivalent of saying “Well I dont want to play Marvel/SF4 because (insert named player) doesnt live here and there arent enough resources”.
I dont want to stall the hype for TTT2, I really want people to play it…REALLY BAD because daddy needs diaper money. I will help anyone however I can, but hands will not be held. I hope you guys are ready
With that said. As you were NC.
I’ve always played fighting games casually since I was 7 and arcades were still around, but it wasn’t until I saw the Daigo parry video in 2004, that I realized there were extremely skilled players out there, and I wanted to be as good as them. To me, fighting games are a fast paced game of knowledge, execution, risk and reward, and as long as you push yourself, you will always find new things. I know people in the FGC talk all kindsa shit, but at the end of the day, everyone wants to get better together. You not only want yourself to look good on stream, but your crew and your state. Good example: when NC got 7 of the top 8 at Final Round in 3rd Strike. 4 NC players getting Top 16 in KoF 13. I not only felt proud of my state and the people I play / train with, but it also inspired me to be next on the main stage to do something big, have my “Daigo parry” moment perhaps.
I’ve learned a lot about life and how to approach things I’m unfamiliar with through playing fighting games. Anyone that’s known me from back in 2006 when I first started can tell you I’ve matured greatly as a player and as a person. One of the greatest lessons I’ve learned is accepting the things I can’t change (aka sometimes you just gotta block) and being prepared to take full advantage of an opportunity (aka rush that shit down!!). How pissed were you after your first session, getting bodied by everyone in the room? Going 0-2 for the first time at a tournament? You practiced your ass off. You took those L’s and got better, and you were proud as hell when you finally beat your rival or the person that took you in and forced you to THINK and become a better player. Hopefully, the 09’ers can carry the torch after we’ve all got our big boy jobs, families, kids, etc. But for now, I’m gonna stay hungry.
KoF: To say the game isn’t dwindling would be a lie, but that just means we aren’t putting the same effort in we used to. The players that did play dropped off a bit and because of that, those of us that remained lost the drive to keep improving. I myself will enter every KoF tournament available, but I haven’t really tried to improve since Lu stopped coming to WNB honestly. I really didn’t see a need to without anyone trying to beat me, and then people just stopped coming all together so now I really have no reason to practice. We need to rally everyone together and say LETS PLAY KOF13!!
I agree with you. The game doesn’t deserve to fade away like that. We have such a strong group of players in NC and possibly the strongest scene in the state since 3rd strike on a national level. Why would we let that go? THis monthly thing may be easier to manage and plan for, for those of you having RL problems atm, so lets try biweekly or monthlies. I support this idea, who’s with me?
Tekken: It’s not a knock on your skill Demo. It’s like saying we have Brent to play in Anime games or MTP to play in BB. They’re good players but they’re not nationally known routinely amazing, experienced out of state performers. LingMassacre IS TEKKEN. This man has placed at Evo. He’s smart and he knows how to break down the game. Having TOP TOP TOP level info and a smart mind to dissect how you need to adjust your game to improve is really big, as well as them having a routine gathering place to offer you. I know you’re a good mid/high level tekken player but I don’t think I’ve ever seen you win a major or anything. So if you haven’t been down that path then how can you guide anyone else that way? I’m not being mean or trying to insult you. Just saying massacre is a proven player and he’s really dedicated to everyone improving so I know I’ll have some of the highest level competition ever available in NC right at my doorstep.
Short answer: because it’s fun, the games and people. My first competitive experiences were in Kinston/Goldsboro/Jacksonville/Greenville arcades, starting with XvsSF. It’s still fun now, but what’s kept me in the scene is mostly the friends I’ve made…that all starting with me riding with Eddie/Dub to a Gamefrog to play #Reload in the summer of 05. I usually want to be in a support role, just because I don’t normally invest a lot of time into the more grinding aspects of the games, or to just be that guy you can train against who’s probably decent enough to give you an idea if your neutral game is good enough to lead you into offense.
But yeah…I’m competitive, love the games and characters, want to be sure I know what I’m doing and minimize screwing up, do well etc but as far as being the guy at the top…I don’t have that sort of motivation. I have always been willing to help anyone get there though. Above all however, like I said, it’s the local community here that’s the main reason I keep up with things.
The bolded part is key. My eyes opened a bit more when Justin moved to NC, but what really got me thinking about trying again is the fact that as soon as he got here, I started hearing about gatherings. Not just the one here, one there that I was used to hearing about after they happened, but this dude was advertising his shit everywhere. He’s actively trying to get players playing, and that’s something that I can’t honestly say I’ve seen from NC Tekken before. I KNOW when and where Tekken is played, and I know that the players that play it will show up and support their game at tournaments.
That, and really, I only know of one other player in this state that’s accomplished what he has on a national level.

Alright guys, with this info being posted I like to announce that by popular demand KOFXIII will be ran again and it is up to you to tell us how often you can come out and play. The next KOFXIII tourney will be on September 12th (next week) so that you guys have time to make plans (if this need to be delayed another week let me know so that we can do so). We want to run it on a schedule so that its consistent and people can make time to come to battle it out. So if you guys want it to be every second Wednesday of each month we can do that (since KOF will run the second Wednesday of September) or if you guys want it to be a biweekly tourney we can do so too. Let us know and we will work it out so that YOU benefit from it. Many dont want KOFXIII to die so help it stay alive.
