And you won’t have chicken wing to mash as well. Great point Jon.
daddy has to buy diapers
also I think that there should be a MM between Jon and Ed. like a gauntlet match. KoFXIII, SFIV, and TTT2 once its been out for awhile. i think we can all agree that those are fair games to play right?
lets make it happen!!!

Good stuff in VF and P4A. Gonna copy some things and the little bit I did learn I’m going to enter the Dojo again and rework things out for VF5:FS. Got a little frustrated with P4A even though I only have a day of playing under my belt and no copy to practice, but the point is I learned the little bit I could instead of just stamping the excuse and walking away. I will be back!
As far as Tekken goes I have more resources then I could possibly ask for. And the fact that I absolutely enjoy playing the game so much. I may be throwing that splash attack like Magikarp right now, but just wait until I evolve into Gyarados. Lay hands on these noobs!
KOF and P4A. Fuuuuuuuuuusion, HA!
Fixed. Let that game die! Replace with 3rd Strike or something. I heard Ed has a really good Alex anyways.
At first I was trying to figure out what made the video post relevant, then I figured out it was equally as relevant as the post you were replying to and began laughing even more. This show is pretty funny.
The reason I say SFIV is because its a current fighting game. Jon already tried the 3S re-release and didnt really like it, plus that would be an unfair advantage to Ed. Just like if we were to put UMvC3 in there, it would be skewed to Jon.
Understandable there. I just want the game to burn. A horrible SF to come out after such greatness as 3rd Strike. sigh

Please don’t compare the two. You don’t even play SF4.
As casual oriented SF4 was made to be, you cannot deny what it brought to our community and most of us would not have even made an account for this website if not for SF4.
And by most, I mean all the 09’ers.
1.) I’m fairly new and made an account on here NOT for SF4. Matt and Kris told me one day at State if I wanted to find people to play then I should get on SRK.
2.) I’ve been back and forth with SF4 since vanilla. And yes, I STILL have every copy of SF4. I hold to things, but the fact is yes I’ve played the game…since it first came out…and I still hate it.
Whether you like my opinion or not is totally up to you. Nothing against that, but please don’t throw misinformation around about me.
EDIT: I don’t like the game because I went to the store, purchased it, played it, and disliked it…thoroughly. I even gave it a chance time and time again to no avail. Instead of others who immediately dislike a game because its not Capcom and never try it out. KOF and Tekken are two of the greatest fighting games to date, but people push them aside for stupid reasons. None being “I played the game and disliked.” But will complain about stuff in SF4 and MvC3 (don’t get me wrong, MvC3 is tooooooo much fun for anyone to dislike) and keep coming back ONLY because its a Capcom game. And you know it! At least I gave SF4 an opportunity to impress me. More than what a majority of the “09’ers” you speak of ever gave non Capcom games. /rant
i think what hes saying is you dont “PLAY” the game, as in you dont have intimate knowledge of its intricacies and nuances, so therefore your casual opinion doesnt hold a lot of weight. i mean i have every version of BB, but i wont claim to “play” the game. feel me?
By not playing it I meant, actually sitting down and learning the game. There are some people in this state who absolutely hate SF4, but at least they are good at it.
Not hating, just pointing out that you aren’t credible enough to call SF4 ass
Honestly, I don’t ever want to play SF4 again. Money match or not. I’d be up for the other two, although I give Ed the advantage right now in TTT2. Give me a month or two to get down to the nitty gritty of the game and we’ll see whats up.
Shit talk makes games exciting. Everyone is too nice these days. No one wants to get better when their pride isn’t on the line.
Edited what I said before, but yes I did go in and study up. I went and did my homework, even posted my results on SRK, but NO ONE could give me constructive criticism because what I was saying was true. NOBODY liked the fact that some new guy was making sense and pointing out that yes, this game might not actually be THAT good. Not even any of the top pros like it, they only play it because they know scrubs will enter and they can take their money.
The hitboxes are terrible, you HAVE to play the game a certain way in order to win, which in turn doesn’t leave any room for player style to ever enter the picture. Its absolutely boring. Its dull. Its like watching paint dry. No, that’s an insult to epic paint dry watching. The game is far worse. Then people have the nerve to down other fighting games that pretty much give you EVERYTHING you could have ever dreamed of, but want to immediately find some lame excuse like “I don’t have time” or “Its too hard to play.”
So no, I invested time and money in that game I can’t get back. Characters I thought would interest me didn’t. The game felt awful. I tried, time and time again, I still didn’t like it. Why people are offended that I actually sat down with the game and pointed out legitimate reasons for not liking it instead of not liking a game I never touched I don’t know, but I still DO NOT LIKE IT.
If it makes you feel better… AE didn’t even have enough entrants last night to get ran. Anime overtaking SF4!!!
Oh yeah KOF HEADS
James says KoF WILL be ran if we get enough people to show up for it. So we should organize and make it happen again. VF is getting played in tournament next week. I’d like to see us pulling back together and making it happen.

Yes I know. I immediately posted this in the group the second James announced it. AND there were more people to play VF than SF4. People talking about there being no one playing VF and that the game is too hard to play anyways. We playing. Where you at?!
Plus P4A is just a fresh of breath air. Its still got that new shoe smell to it you just HAVE to validate with from time to time.
P4A is a really good game so far. My only gripe so far has been Mitsuru but that’s just her being an annoying ass character to me moreso than her just being plainly unfair. Except 5A. Wtf is that shit? lol
I may just end up playing her. I liked Yu for his pokes and mobility but Mitsuru just straight up out pokes him. So maybe I should go with the slightly stronger mid range character.
If you were having a hard time understanding why my post was relevant, IDK what to tell you.
Ed’s video on the other hand: Yeah I’d rather not spend hours of my life reading into whatever cryptic meaning is(or isn’t) intended.
People didn’t ignore you because you were “right” and they were “wrong” and their pride wouldn’t allow them to confirm whatever it was you posted about SF4.
They ignored you because your posts are fucking annoying.
The only premise I’ve read from this so far is that SF4 has wonky hitboxes and it’s boring.
SF4 is a game that teaches you what not to do. It promotes discipline, that is how the engine works. Exceptions were developed over the course of it’s inception (Viper, Rufus, Seth, Akuma) but for the most part it teaches you to not push buttons and fucking hold back.
I’m sorry you can’t faceroll your kick buttons in SF4 like you can with Chun Li in Marvel.
