Don’t forget that all the tournaments and sessions are in the first post. This week is just a session like we host every Friday at EZ the monthly tournament is on the 21st, I hope this clears up everything.

I ain’t that worried about teams. First of all its going to be fun, which is what really counts. Secondly, while I will say Matt(Jon and I are about 50/50 right now I’d say) did get the best of me the only time we really played, that was like 2 weeks into the game being out and me being piss ass drunk lol. And lastly I’ve been playing with some people nobody knows about around here that are pretty damn good, a few that you may know of and a few new bloods. I fully expect a dogfight down there especially knowing what caliber of players are coming from each area, but it ain’t nothing to fuck my head up about.
I’d say, considering today is Wednesday…

Erik: Yeah like you said, you and I only played Matt when the game first came out really. I’m not letting past performances for any of us judge how this is going to go, because this’ll be completely different for everyone. I can’t honestly say who will win because I haven’t played anyone outside of RDU in a while. Last person I played really was Corner Trap and felt like I had the upper hand in our matches then back at state, but even that was like a couple of weeks ago, and before that he was beating me. By now he probably has gone through like 4 other teams lol. So who knows. This shit is hype though!

You are pretty crazy if you think MVC3 isn’t popular in the RDU area considering the max amount of people we’ve had at a gathering is about 5 and the only people that technically were from the area playing are brent and myself since Brandino travels two hours from goldsboro and seventh travels about an hour from faye and the only reason why they have to do it is specifically because nobody touches the game within good reason of course. Now I will say I am quite salty because I do wish AH3 had a bigger player base but it’s totally ok because someone told me in reality you just need a small group of people as serious as you are to “level up” in a game. Do you remember the hotel gathering, it was like 4 marvel setups, 1 super, 1 poverty and 1 arcana.

Team Triangle definitely has some good players but more importantly i’d feel like an asshole if I bet against my own team and so to sum it up i’m gonna just stick with them for as long as this goes on because win or lose i’ll still support the triangle mvc3 scene since I like the game (just not playing it lol).

Looks like I’ll be picking everyone up. I get out of work at 6:00pm assuming I have no crazy clients to deal with at the end of the day. I’ll pick up Jon first and then everyone else at Kris’s dorm at state and then we will head on out. AZN_Boy if you don’t feel like walking to kris’ thats fine, I can get you at your dorm.
As far as gas is concerned, there is no set price. If you don’t drive, for your reference it’s about $50 to fill up now a days. Just give a few bucks, whatever you feel you should no big deal. I’m not gonna ask anyone for gas money or complain if you give me 50 cents lol, just keep in mind your need for future rides.

My carpool should be there around 5:30-6:30 depending on traffic and leaving around 1-2.
