Snakes on a Plane was AWESOME. Opening day on that shit. End theme music sucked ass though. Otherwise agree with Sep, the internet is the home base of the angriest procrastinators in the universe.

yeah i dont think the bad press will do much damage. but the loss of momentum is huge. its like ppl coming out of retirement, its hard to make a comeback. theres a lot of ramp up time required. jay retires from tonight show. starts shitty 10 o clock show that nobody gives a fuck about. now he retires from that, and goes back on tonight show. every step of the way he’s losing viewers and interest.
of course best case scenario is this bad publicity buries jay leno. but as pointed out, nobody watched snakes on a plane.
what’s more interesting is that the comedians are all against jay, so i wonder if jay will lose a lot of guests as a result -> that in turn could affect ratings.

It might effect the number of big comedians that come on the show, but this may pave the way for lesser known comedic talent. I don’t know about ratings though. The majority of people that come on there are plugging their new movie/show/cd. Where there’s a dollar, there’s a way.

Damn, this sucks. Conan is getting paid like crazy, but honestly you can see he was really passionate about this. Plus, I think he is thinking more about his staff and whatnot.
I know he will get a show quickly, but he was on the fucking Tonight Show.
