and did the female hokage’s bloodline limit go through susanoo, or disolve through or was it because it was fading? Because if it went through then ya I agree rasen would go through for sure.
It did, but his Susanoo was still in it’s early stages, and he was weakening.
I think what Danzou did to Sasuke’s “armored”, pre-tengu cloak Susanoo would be a better example. It didn’t go completely through, but his Fuuton(strenghtened by the vacuum of his summoned Baku’s ability) created a weak spot on Susanoo’s back.
So Saist, would you consider Sage mode Naruto to be as fast/strong as Blackage with his taijutsu or would he also need a boost from the 9t chakra shroud?
until Naruto breaks the 5 clone limit in sage mode [is that really a limit] I doubt he can land his FRS on an un Susanoo’d Sauce.

If a Naruto clone [rather than the original] could make more clones, could one clone make another, next both sit and enter sage mode, then have one disperse while the other makes another clone… two dedicated clones could sustain sage mode this way.

I kind of figured Sakura was being played up to…not be useless.

This used to be the manga of constant improvement. Even Kakashi, the teacher of the students was learning new things. It wasn’t just “new generation = better” but the way the Rookie 9 look right now…I guess they’re going to stagnate.
Based on what we’ve seen, I’d consider Sage Mode Naruto physically stronger than Raikage.
Not as fast though. I think Raikage, due to his Raiton Armor, is probably the fastest character we’ve seen thus far, with the possible exception of Gai with six Gates released. When somebody else dodges Amaterasu the way he did with pure physical movement alone, I might change my mind.
Yeah, if he makes any more than that, then the two dedicated for gathering natural energy won’t be able do their job.
That wouldn’t work. The Kage Bunshin can’t move to make more, and since the chakra would be split up, they wouldn’t be able to gather natural energy in the first place(since a large volume of chakra is required to do so).
It would likely get peaced out unless he got Itachi’s Yata no Kagami, as SaiST said.
As for whether Sage Naruto is faster and stronger than Raikage, he’s definitely stronger. He’s actually one of the strongest people we’ve been shown, physically. Faster I would say no, because of the Raiton armor (which is a bootleg weaker version of Negi’s Magia Erebea in Mahou Sensei Negima, as a sidenote) that give Raikage uber reflexes. Dude DODGED a Amaterasu. That’s hardcore fast.
I do think Raikage would have a problem if he fought Sage Naruto, due to his invulnerability to stuff that would hurt most people. He fell like, hundreds of feet onto spiky mountains and went, “Ow, I fell”. 
If he got hit once, even with the Raiton armor, it would probably be GG.
This. A ‘non ultimate attack’ was able to cut thru using wind/air ‘bending’ whatever, and while incomplete - when you mix it with the ‘translation’ that the Mizukage’s pearl necklace was eating away at it on a cellualr level - and with the Fuuton repoprtedly destroying thigns on a cellular level - its been setup on SEVERAL teirs that fuuton-rasengan should be able to eat up Susan, at least in incomplete form. I wouldn’t be surprised if the last exchange between the two was either a) chidori vs rasengan or b) Susan shooting clones of Naruto and getting peaced out from behind by a rasengan.

One of the downfalls of this manga to me was it suffered from DBZ syndrome, where we start with a bunch of potentially awesome characters and then it’s bottle necked down to two or one character being all that matters. Actually, it seems okay that DBZ did it but I hate Kishi took the same road. All that stuff we were fed about certain people being a genius or lee being a genius through hard work. It’s like none of that matters anymore.

Pretty much. All these cool characters, each with their own unique clan histories/abilites (minus Tenten) and so much potential for plot development and all we get is “Sasuke, sasuke, sasuke, SAAAASSSUUUUUKKKEEEE…SHARINGANNNNNN!!”
cause naruto and sasuke > all of the rookies. they aint that interresting, and shining some time on them would mean less time on sauce and nalto. they could amke it good if these rookies faces some aka nins and got owned/killed, like thatll ever happen.

i would totaly support a manga that focus’ on just the rookies and takes place in a universe where sas and nar are either dead or don’t exist.
im being serious. this manga was loaded with interesting and unique characters before the time skip, and at this point the plights of the main characters hardly interest me.

Sooo, uh, Naruto filler seems to be done. That was probably the fastest “filler” arc I think they’ve thrown out. The new double ep was awesome. Nice sendoff to Jiraiya. Can’t wait to see more of Raikage.
