Haven’t seen any episodes for almost a year now.
I last left off when Naruto and the other gay looking dude was trying to find/rescue Sasuke inside Orochimaru’s cave or whatever it was.(Forgot which episodes these were).

Naruto would have a ridiculous amount of chakra regardless of if he had Kyuubi or not. This was stated by Yamato, who said that Naruto’s own chakra must be massive in order to hold back the Kyuubi’s.
In addition, to people who read the chapter (incorrectly) thinking that Naruto is being a bitch here, he isn’t. He’s telling Sasuke that he’s still his friend and he still wants them to understand each other…but that if he comes to Konoha bringing the heat he’s going down. He’s basically put the ball in Sasuke’s court: Chill the fuck out, or we throw down and most likely kill each other.

Naruto’s huge reserve of chakra is at least partly thanks to the Kyuubi. It’s because of the Kyuubi being sealed within Naruto all this time that his stamina is so great right now.
Thing about Naruto’s chakra is that it’s so powerful that he can resist the effects of Kyuubi’s compressed, human-sized chakra shroud. That’s probably all him, and may be a big part of the reason Minato decided to seal the Kyuubi in his body to begin with.
Said it didn’t work on him. Killer B is a “perfect” Jinchuuriki with flawless control over the Hachibi. Same can’t be said for Naruto… Not yet, anyways.
you have to consider the special influence the sharingan has on the ky?bi as well. even with perfect control over the ky?bi it might not help as much as killer bee who had a different bij? inside of him.

IDK… They are always very specific in saying that Sharingan controls the Kyuubi. They never mention Sharingan being able to control any of the other ones, and Sasuke was getting owned free by Hachibi for a while. You’d think he’d just break out some bijuu-owning shenanigans if he could.

i wouldn’t count out the only ky?bi is affected by the sharingan theory either. there seems to be a special link between the ky?bi and the uchiha or at least the other beasts haven’t been mentioned. maybe it’s because of the hatred. i don’t know.
DB3 points out that Sasuke’s possession of Manda was an example of the Sharingan’s power to control Bijuu awakening in him. If it was something Kyuubi-specific, then that wouldn’t have worked either.
Naruto having next to nothing to offer during his first meeting with Sasuke in Part 2, with Killer B being the “perfect” Jinchuuriki. Naruto showing a willing resistance to the Kyuubi’s influence, while the Hachibi was working in perfect synch with Killer B. Sasuke’s weakened condition, selective memory, and inexperience with the Mangekyou Sharingan…

That, plus the fact that there’s been no indication of any particularly special link between the Uchiha and the Kyuubi thus far(besides the fact that they share the same origins–but that goes for all of the Bijuu), is what leads me to believe that it’s not just about the Kyuubi. I suspect the Kyuubi’s been used as an example so often not only because Madara used it the way he did nearly a century ago(while Hashirama had the rest of 'em on lock, apparently), but because it’s the most powerful of them all.
Based on what’s been said thus far, the Sharingan’s control over the Kyuubi is due to the fact that the Sharingan’s chakra(well, in Sasuke and Madara’s case at least) has been said to be just that powerful, not any unique ties between the Kyuubi and the Sharingan.

edit: the sharingan couldnt genjutsu 8 cause theres 2 people in max control, the bijuu and the junchuuriki. theres a reason even tsukiyomi didnt work on the 8 tails, if it was just the 8 tails host or just the bijuu it probably would have been different.
