well… he would not be hated by the older generation, but perhaps pitied by them, assuming they knew his father is the 4th. I’ld think his mom would be around to raise him… as a pseudo-outsider.
random ways to compensate
[details=Spoiler]1. Has actual chakra control from the start.
2. No need to immediately get KBnJ… and die if making more than 4 clones on 1st try…
3. skillz probably a little above average except in genjutsu.
4. If his mother knew wind jutsu he might go in that direction 1st.
5. He could be like K-maru [with one shadow clone] and still work his way up to more clones over time if he did learn that KBnJ.
6. It could take longer to master the Rasengan, but K-maru did it in under a year
7. Takes much longer for wind release Rasengan, his true-Sage mode, and the Rasen-shuriken would likely be impossible before then due to cellular damage.
8. his clones could try Rasen Shuriken a few [2-4] times a day.
9. Disregarding his own chakra growth from suppressing the kyubi… lets say he would naturally have 3-5x special-K chakra… not bad given he’s not feeding loner shenanigan.
10. Not the pariah of the series, [and still a drive to be like 4th hokage] he could go jack of all trades attempting to follow the 3rd as a professor of jutsu.
11. He could glean more from several of the rooky 9 as casual friends.
-Kiba’s team work and taijutsu tactics/methods. [ie 4-legs aura, and MvC assist combos]
-Less of Rock Lee’s taijutsu because he can’t physically keep up. [no regen, less chakra]
-Understanding of gentle palm [after being hit by hinata a few times]
-Understanding of swarming tactics [bug boy and use of a few KBnJ and many BnJ]
-Understanding training method of KBnJ [in exchange shika learns jutsu, passes out from using it][/details]

I’m thinking shika with that much chakra would’ve more than likely have been able to use the shadow neckbreaker much earlier, which would lead to a LOT of hurt ninjas. Chakra+genius level brains+able to make strategy on the fly= Plothole level OWN. His main problem is that he doesn’t have a LOT of chakra to use on the shadow bind. if he could catch a fool from a distance of half a mile out, that would make a difference in many a fight. Still, he can always snatch up some of those food soldier pills and EX a bitch.

What do you mean by “THAT long”? It only lasted like 8 episodes. That’s actually pretty short for a filler arc these days. Be lucky it’s not one of those 20+ episode arcs.
re: shika + fox = indestructible
well the thing is… the sealed fox would mess with his chakra control. while I’m unsure how much it would effect his shadow based jutsu, it would prevent him from mastering the standard BnJ. With the village mostly against him [new generation of Ino-Shika-Cho in question] he could still initially fail [ala naruto] too. If he does steal the scroll of seals though… he’d learn more than just KBnJ. Asuma should be his substitute Iruka Umino, having orders from the 3rd [his dad] to watch him.
I see shika as defined by his planning, creativity, laziness, and magivered finises to work with in his limitations. With extra chakra, I just don’t see him pushing his reserves unless he has too. His chakara capacity never defined him to me… unlike kikashi.
Shika could/would exploit shadow clone jutsu making his dupes do all the work and master the jutsu’s for him. While inherently lazy, I see way too much brokeness even for plot purposes. I mean shadow clones cast as shadow too… even if his clones weren’t as good/focus as the original shika, that alone is pretty broken. In his case shadow clones would lead to the other clone jutsu [multi shuriken, clone made of his shadow juts chakara]. I wonder how he would deal with the chunin exams? vs Temari? vs Gaara? After some thought, Shika should not get the fox… ever
re: kiba + fox
Kiba and his clan’s jutsu could make for a good host. He doen’t seem much brighter than Naruto and adding shadow clones to his jutsu list makes him a veritable one man wolf pack. Plot-wise, he would be lacking his mother who IIRC ran off his father. The home dynamics may be closer to Gaara’s or Hinata’s as a result. Before the time jump, Gaara could kill his puppy. During the time jump he could get the dog summon deal from kikashi or his mother’s 3 dogs.
re: others with fox aura
I’ld have to give more thought on Neji, but RockLee would just be a stronger version of himself having regenerative abilities, limitless stamina, and considerably more chakra per gate release. A 3 tailed shroud and 3-6 gates would be broken given were his taijutsu was without it. Perhaps he would be a sneaky version of his sensei… could have KO’d Gaara in the exam fight too.
Neji would become the weapon of his uncle, and what he’ld loose in fine detailed control would be compensated with in raw flow of chakra reserves, with physical stamina and speed; could easily sustain his byakugan with his red aura. Neji would similarly expand on the use of shadow clone jutsu like shika, at least with weapon use. A one man army under his uncle control. Plot wise he would end up like Gaara was imho.
Don’t all those Chakra reserves belong to Naruto?
yes he can use the fox for more hax chakra but KageBushin and Mass KageBushin are all his powers.

nah im pretty sure they established early mass kage was the fox. i believe the reason it was forbidden because of the major toll it took on normal peoples chakra.

maxx: naruto has a mad amount of chakra without the fox, that’s the only reason he can hold the fox, its true he uses some fox power for earlier MASS kagebushin, but the only reason he couldn’t use his chakra, the only reason he couldnt focus his chakra, the only reason he wasn’t as good or even possibly better than sasuke was because of the fox
