but gai doesnt risk his life for some odd reason, he never even shows glimpses of shit hurting like rock lee did. hes strong enough to be on par or almost on par with your average kage/aka (with gates released ofcourse).
also NOBODY is capable of sticking where the powerlevels are going. kabuto seems like an overpowered oro, as if oro wasnt powerful enough. sasuke now with ems is beyond the normal realm of ninjas imo. naruto once he gets comfortable with his new mode, or learns to mix it up with sennin mode is pretty much broke that none other than sasuke, madara or possibly kabuto being able to hang with him. madara is already on some next shit, IF he becomes 10 tails jin hes pretty much out of everybodies league.
besides these 3 gai actually has what it takes to make it very hard for some of the other powerhouses in this manga. its a shame madaras 2 other trumps went dead (itachi & pain). but then again neither of them seemed like “his” trump cards. kabuto and sasuke now make up for more than that.
once he opens gates neji isnt shit. but if he hurts himself and doesnt kill neji fast enough hes dead meat. something gai doesnt have to deal with. cause he just opens 6 or 7 gates than carries a deadbeat kakashi on his back running for 100 miles non stop. dude doesnt make no fucking sense. hes a bizzarre beast indeed.

What’s not to like about Gai? He got it in. He didn’t talk about that Jutsu, didn’t blab about strategy, he just powered up and shot a big ass blue tiger ball at him. He is the antithesis of Naruto battling. Shark face deserves to die for hanging around for that long and not capturing the 8 tails.
I stopped caring about garbage Naruto story a long time ago. I just want to see people get beat up. Why have Kisame spy on them in the first place? You have a guy who can turn into spores and make clones of himself who is the guy that spies.
There no reason to try and make sense of it because none of it makes sense.
