He got Chakra from his sword who ate Chakra from 8T. Guy wasn’t counter picked he was simply a counter. Also since when does killing yourself stop someone from reading your brain? The guy who got info on pain did it from a DEAD BODY. So Gai pushed his hands together so hard it made an air pressure huge tiger head?

yeah it’s just the kakashi fight, i have the jap demo on my ps3 currently. It plays pretty much identically to the first one(from what i can tell of this one fight) just shorter ougi’s(which i like since the other ones were cool but got annoying after the first couple times you see them).

I said last week Gai wouldn’t die…there is nothing to be gained from his death. However this does give Rock Lee a + in the possible growth department. It’s also kinda nice to see someone without something ridiculous…taking out an Akatsuki member. No tailed beast…no broken help from a vag…Gai just ‘won’…

Edit: actually, opening gates is something ridiculous. It gives the individual power that can surpass hokage. Its not a jutsu developed by Gai and techniqually anyone can open gates and own.

yeah but only gai can go this far. there are other people who can open gates and get all butthurt by opening 2 or 3, 4 was seen as the work of a genius. gai opens 7 gates and acts like he didnt even get a muscle ache. for non broke peeps like non ms uchihas, gai with 7/+ gates opened is something thatll kill almost anyone. few nins can win, either using broke shit like kinjutsus (oro), being overpowered themselves (blackkage, jinchuurikis) or a main character (naruto). gai would actually stand a bigger chance against most akas and kages than kakashi would. also kakashi without his MS jutsu would never win in an all out fight against gai. its thanx to his uchiha ms that he might be able to kill gai.
list of characters gai could hold his own with (note that both characters gotta be at max health).
hidan would get raped. even if he manages a cut, forming that sign wont be easy.
he could take on kakuzu but dont know if hed last long enough to finish him off.
kisame at full strength might actually beat gai, if he can outlast him gais done. let alone steal his chakra during gate release.
deidera would probably beat gai.
sasori would probably get his ass beat.
oro would fuck gai up.
itachi would merc gai.
pain would too.
madara as well obviously.
konan would get raped.
gai also stands a good chance against most kages as well.
tsunade, could go either way.
jiraiya would probably kill gai as well.
3rd would kill gai even in his old age.
everybody knows 4th rapes.
blackkage might prove to be too powerful for even gated gai.
mizukage would probably get fucked.
even gaara might lose.
dont know bout dirt kage, hes old and hasnt shown anything but that big qube. gai could probably take him on, but i really dont know.
in the end it seems like kakashi is more of an elite because of his general skill in pretty much everything. and to top it off hes got a super one shot ms jutsu to try to win against most kage level opponents.
gai on the other hand always looked more able to do so. he lacks something like kakashi ms jutsu for that undercover, distant kill thats hard to react to and handle. but on the other hand with gates openen, he can just fight kage level opponents and crush them with sheer force. itachi really wasnt kidding, dont underestimate this green beast.

And yes opening gates is kinda ridiculous…its also however not a bloodline. Him unlocking gates is just practice…there is nothing Gai has that makes him seem capable of sticking with where the power levels are going…no pew pew, no beast, no bloodline…he didn’t pull a random power up out his ass or anything…he simply handled his business like a real ninja should - and deserves any and all praise for IMO defeating an Aka member without something ‘broke’…and gates aren’t broke considering ayone can use them, and he risk his life doing it…
