I did say featured. If Kisame was featured in part 1 he wouldn’t be as powerful as he is now. I wouldn’t hold
my breath on Kisame being developed. Part of being post Sasori = you will not get character development unless you’re relevant to the story. Kisame isn’t very relevant.

the weakest ,most bs part about the naruto manga WAS the fights in this first arc, slow ass jutsus and bitch ass team work for weak ass nins. the only thing i wanted to see in naruto where the fights in the style we saw when the rookies had that tournament and oro vs 3rd, itachi and kisame in the village vs kur, asu and kak. now those are some REAL fights. ninjas that actually amount to something. if the entire manga was about these slow ass fights all revolving teamwork id have given up on it a long time ago. the manga is interresting cause there are nins that are stronger than that and can actually hold their fucking own. in other words theres ninjas in it that are actually dangerous.
and LOL at dei would have gotten raped against gaara. a non prepared dei with almost no clay beat gaara, but did so by not having gaara transorm on him. meaning NEITHER of them where quite going all out. gaara had the field advantage that was turned into a disadvantage. gaara was doing ALL he could, cept transforming. dei didnt have shit with him, if you believe a fully prepared dei wouldnt stand a chance or would get raped your even more retarded than i ever imagined. fully prepared dei was the one that faced sasuke, if that fight didnt explain enough i doubt anybody else can do it for you. deidera was more than strong enough to take on gaara even fully transformed, and even if that werent enough hes still MORE than strong enough to kill the jin and take his own life. look at it like this. deidera is ALWAYS strong enough to at least make a draw against gaara, while gaara could actually lose without taking deidera with him.
Ignoring your thoughts on my use of the term “you mad” which has nothing to do with anything and is simply you trying to get a rise out of me, Kisame would have been stronger than Zabuza even if he had been featured in Part 1. There’s a reason one of them is Akatsuki and the other one ain’t. Personality wise, Zabuza was cool but dude wasn’t the be all end all. Hell, if we’re talking OG Part 1 badass villains he still ain’t got shit on Orochimaru (who back in the day was actually cool instead of being like Team Rocket), or asshole Gaara (good guy Gaara is awesome too, but this is P1 we’re talking about). I actually think the Sasuke and Naruto vs. Haku fight trumped the Zabuza fight.

Power scaling is a feature of shounen manga. The good guys have to have a chance at beating the bad guys. If Kisame as we know him
fought the crew at the bridge instead of Zabuza the manga would be over. You see we’re talking about two different things here.
You are talking about the actual character.
I’m talking about the characters relation in proportion to where he was placed in the story.
That’s why calling Zabuza shit now is pointless. At the time he was a great foil. His arc was more powerful than
anything Kisame has or will ever show up in.
