well, look at it this way. it’s hard to tell how good the kinkaku force really was with so little information. all we know is that they were 20 elite ninjas and nidaime estimated they would be in trouble even with a young danz?, sarutobi & co laying in ambush. whoever this force was, they were most likely very strong. don’t think they are even comparable to the the likes of say the 1000 nameless guys sasuke beat up. imagine a group of kakashis, yamatos, asumas, zabuzas and gais in teamwork which wouldn’t be too far fetched to believe they could overpower one hokage.

Well Konoha has been the biggest and strongest Hidden Village since the begining…the Cloud has been trying to catch up for forever…but at that time Konoha should have still been number one…so your taking the 2nd - who was the first brother - a Senju in otherwords, and he gets sonned by ANBU from an inferior village…no wonder the third took him on with no prolbems as an old man.
I didn’t notice, but the gangsta’est thing about the last chapter is that Minato caught the Kunai he threw after he teleported ahead of it.

If they modernized Naruto the vast majority of characters would die from gunshots. There’s nothing they can do to avoid bullets.

A bullet is too fast for anyone to really deal with in Naruto. Sausuke’s lightning dragon is just overkill. Of course this is an anime and they’ll find ways to make sure everyone with a gun has Ten-Ten syndrome.

IF thrown kunai were the naruto equivalent of a modern bullet shot… and any good naruto ninja can deal with a standard kunai throw… THEN i would like to see a modernized Naruto.

Even old bullets were faster than you can see. The Sharingan ain’t gonna be able to see a small piece of shrapnel flying at 800 feet per second. Bullets, no matter from what era, would make Naruto a very different environment.

Pew Pew powers would still be on top, because of the genjutsu ish. They might have guns, but if you’re not strong enough, you’re still falling to the hax. Guns are long range weopons that have a hard time penetrating objects. It is a well know fiction-fact (yes fiction-fact) that Ninja’s are very good at blocking bullets with kunai, swords and various other types of chakraless techniques. For ninja, deflecting projectiles is probably a genin level skill at best. Even with that said if the person aiming is terrible the fight is over before it began. All a ninja would have to do is close the distance on his opponent and end it. (Gunkatta or some equivalent would /could prove useful at close range but these ninjas be summoning rocks and shit , not to mention having all types of defenisive techiniques like ultimate deffense).
I don’t see guns being difficult to handle imo.
