I remember the filler arc. Shit, I graduated from college and it was still going. I downloaded Naruto episodes for over a year and didn’t watch a single one until someone said it went back to actual story. I have every Naruto ep and I haven’t watched quite a few.
My favorite was when she got knocked out by kabuto being hit by an attack and then fell off a bridge.

Yeah, I was a diehard fan until that filler shit started happening. Now I had no idea it was filler, I just thought that the show had got real stupid for some reason. Still in all, I powered through 100+ episodes of that shit to get to where I am now. Some filler weren’t that bad, but some was downright terrible. I’d have to say my favorite piece of filler are the episodes where there was the one clan that used a meteorite to boost their chakra and actually made wings with it to fly. I thought that was pretty cool. Also the filler with the strange kid with the red glowing eyes and the pedophile with the tuning forks that could shoot lightning. The race one was ok to. It had two rival kingdoms that hold a foot race with their fastest runner to see who would rule, but each side would hire ninja to help their runner win. The movies overall have been hit or miss. Are those based loosely on the manga if at all?
short answer: No.
Long answer: Fuck no.
I can’t stand behind such ridiculous claims. It was all shit.

Spoilers are out:
- Kushina punches Naruto in the stomach (LOL, the tables turn for Naruto clocking Minato), apparently as a wake-up call.
- Kushina says “dattebayo” like Naruto does.
- Flashback of Kushina, she transferred to Konoha from another village as an academy student, and also wanted to be Hokage.
- She apparently has a bloodline technique or special ability, something linked to her chakra.
- Kumogakure (Hidden Cloud, Raikage and co.) kidnapped Kushina when she was younger, trying to take control of her power.
- She was apparently teased and called “tomato” for her hair color, but when she got a bag of tomatoes and started pelting the other students with them, they left her the hell alone and gave her a new nickname, something like “fiery habanero”.
- Naruto gets pep talked by mommy, says he will be the next Hokage. Kushina nods, and tells him to kick Kyuubi’s ass.
- Kyuubi apparently knows Kushina very well.
Yeah, he’s been trapped in there with her for a while it seems. They prolly play chess on weekends.
And “Yay” at Naruto having possible access to a blood limit. Its already been hinted at that Naruto’s chakra feels ‘different’ (the sensor chick from Sauce’s group mentioned it and I think its been mentioned elsewhere - granted my initial take on her comment was more about the cold heartedness of Sasuke and the …warm hearted ness of Naruto.

Anyways, Naruto’s chakra is supposed to be really strong. It’s how he was able to somewhat resist the effects of the Kyuubi’s chakra shroud when 4+ tails went up. Normally, he wouldn’t even be able to move.

This actually sounds dope for once… but it seems excessive… so not only is Nalto about to put the Kyuubi on dat leash, but now he’s getting a blood limit too??
Or perhaps, the blood limit is his chakra which we’ve already seen. He has waaaay more than the average ninja, so perhaps that’s been his ‘blood limit’ all along and this is just explaining why he seems to have so much more than the average nin.
Whatever, seems like a good setup for a future chapter which will be sure to let me down and lie in disappointment. For now, I remain optimistic.
