Naruto didn’t get the kill on Kakuzu. He destroyed two out of his three hearts. His other heart was obviously still pumping. He couldn’t use ninjutsu again but he survived with one heart. We’re not arguing intent here. We’re arguing what actually happened.
Are there people in here who strictly watch the anime and dont read the Manga?
I used to be that way because I like motion. I read the manga now because the anime is way behind. I didn’t know about Kakuzu and Hidan until the anime came out.
Isn’t Rock Lee’s drunken style vs kimmimaro lifted, move for move, from the jackie chan drunken boxing movie also?
I personally don’t mind seeing the good fights borrowed/copied (sharingan’d?) like that… better than the animators trying to make up their own shit and having it come out looking stupid.

I would be one of those people. It’s just something about manga being in black and white that doesn’t apeal to me. I don’t know why it’s not in color because the cover art work is always kick ass. I guess it’s because they put them out so often that inkers don’t have time to get in the pages and work their magic. If manga got a paint job, I’d be more inclined to read it.
LOL, you serious? The anime, at this point, is only about 60 volumes behind. After Naruto vs. Pein, you got the Danzo/Kage bidness, then the ??? vs ??? bidness, and you’re about caught up. Anime’s going into some extreme filler after Naruto vs Pein.

Correct, partly. Filler is story/plots that’s thrown into the anime that is not sourced from the manga, or whatever original source is used, depending on the anime. When the time-skip happened after Naruto/Sasuke fight, anime watchers literally had to wait 2 years before Shippuuden came out, which started the post-time skip. I can’t stand filler at all, but I did hear that Momochi Zabuza was in there somewhere (I’m assuming a backstory).

I almost stopped watching when that cowboy dude in one of the early fillers EASILY KOs Naruto, Sasuke, and Sakura with a JUDO CHOP TO THE BACK OF THE NECK. Serious wtf moment. They beat Zabuza and Haku, but get bested by a lame surprise chop? Lamest shit ever.
well, Sakura has been K.O.ed by just about everything in the ninja world, including some errant rock that just…Showed up for no reason. Wearing her damn headband protector the right way might prevent some of that, but alas. Sakura don’t do that.

EDIT: Nope I see it was just over a year ago. Even so, I couldn’t watch a show without being completely caught up.
Like with Heroes, I watch all of season 1 in 2 days to start watching season 2 when it was coming out.
