Chapter was pretty terrible.
-Parent pep talk from beyond the grave was played out after the second time it happened.
-Kushina’s handling of the Kyuubi really emphasizes Kishi’s lack of anything resembling writing skills. “The bijuu were the most powerful forces to walk the land. The Kyuubi is a force that is stronger than any other. So stronger only Yondaime could commandthem! Oh, and Yamato thanks to his bloodline. Oh, and the Sage of the Six Paths. Oh yeah! And Madara too. I forgot about him. Well, anyone with Sharingan, really. And Yondaime can cut his soul in half and put him on time out. his girlfriend might as well be able to do it for free too. But the Kyuubi is still the strongest!!!11!1!”
-All the crying about Sasuke’s power-ups and we pretty much learned that naruto has had a shit load since birth between the Kyuubi, Kushina’s chakra, and the possibility that he inherited her chakra and not just what was used to seal the Kyuubi. The only thing good about this is that maybe Alphadragoon’s crying ass will shut the fuck up about Sasuke’s “free” power ups.
-Kishi is slowly but surely completely ignoring the genius vs hard work element that was so prevalent in the beginning and made Naruto vs. Sasuke so compelling.
I can’t believe you guys are falling for the smoke and mirrors. This rehashed bullshit was not a good chapter imo. Take out Kushina’s random and unnecessary appearance and you’re left with a chapter that nothing happened in. I find it hilarious that people love to complain about Sasuke but clam up when Naruto gets help for every single thing he’s ever done. Bee mastered the 8tails by himself. naruto had Yamato, Bee, and was still losing until mom popped out and put the game on pause.
