i personally don’t think he’s trolling. The other guys is completely wrong if he thinks this match up is 7-3 in giefs favor. in my opinion at worst it’s a 6-4 only because of the fact of chuns health otherwise this match would be 5-5. She has alot of tools to deal with gief but at the same time once she gets knock down and she has no meter, then it’s gets pretty nasty for chun but besides that we see how HIGH LEVEL chun li’s play against high level giefs.

I 100% agree with you. I got live today and I noticed he is terrible. Hes new hitbox wont allow short jump. Hes j.mk have less active frames so Bison can AA HK him all day, the extra fame startup on c.lk is a major nerf to. And EX green hand do way to little damage.

Any thoughts on the new Sagat match up? If he wakes up to lp SRK all of your mix ups get wrecked now except a late timed splash but even that puts sagat in a reset for another guess… The pokes got easier and the damage/health seem to be worse for Sagat then Gief. But I still see this as a 7-3.

anyway i got the game last weekend havent played much but got in couple of matches today i had long time i didnt play sf4 so i jump to super in a very shitty way , first thing i notice the damm jump it feels extremely weird , health like all of us but what really shock me was the new guile i think these is in guiles favor charging time and hes normals are too good now in super , against ryu and ken those are in giefs favor now specially with U2.
today was the first time i played the game and also like i say its a while since last time i played vanilla so i dont know if my hands where mess up with the stick or anything but guile SB’s and normals are like impossible to react with exgreen , you cant exgreen like whe could cause he will block and punish , if whe try to do something when blocked boom he will slap us with back fist , jumping he can easy air throw with these new retarded jump , U2 dont catch FK.
Some people have said that they feel gief faster :bluu: only thing faster is crouch MP , but i think all hes normals seems slower and the damage nerf with green hand combo make it not worth in my opinion but anyway the Guy matchup seems trouble it wasnt easy to counter that air command he does plus he really can pressure , jury i dont think its trouble , dudley np also , adon i couldt find how to deal with hes specials , hakan its meh atleast the ones i face… but like i say i am very shitty now my execution with stick its all messed cant even do hadukens lol so theres chances i was playing with scrubs :party:
I remeber saying that I liked hes new jumps. Wow how stupid I was. They are the worst jumps in the game. He cant even do a jump in attack anymore, he have to stand right infront of them before he can do a jumpin. The match vs bison is now in hes favor. Zangief cant do anything to him anymore.
I finally copped super last nyte.
OMG…I feel so OFF. I know I stoppedp laying for Modern Warfare 2, but its no excuse to be as bad as I was last nyte. My timing is all screwed up, and the jumping tweak just completely wrecked my shit…especially when I went against a Guile player…I was just demolished.
It didn’t help that I just got a new TE that I havne’t changed out to cornerless yet, I kept jumping and doing other things I don’t usually do…just not a great SF nyte period, but Gief was down right embaracing. Hakan seems like complete trash and I couldn’t get around him either…just dumbness on my part…
I dunno, Super just feels like a completely different game and I’m having some difficultis adjusting (my timing on EF ultra was just shot…let alone Gief, I only landed one ultra 1).

SSF4 is a much better game. It will propably only take you like a week of playing and testing to get back to where you used to. SSF4 is very complete, some people aren’t happy about stuff but then, its impossible to make a game and please everyone unless its like God of War III or something.

Well I guess some of my frustration is that I know I won’t get to log hours in SSF4 like I did in SF4, so its kinda getting under myskin thinking that I’l lhave to relearn everything and refigure my timing. Not knocking ‘most’ of the changes (though some of them like EF’s ultra not sucking in as AA) just really irritated me. And the jumping as well, I try to remain grounded, but every now and then, jumping is…ya know advantagous…but right now its like…wow “Just hit me”.
