Hmmm… please forgive my Spidey related ignorance but what really happens if he can OTG with Web Zip? Like, what state would the opponent be put in so you could followup?
Like, would they be hit like Wesker’s Samurai Edge? Could you cancel zip into Web Ball? Zip, land, UltiWeb Throw…?
Between Web Throw no longer causing a hard knock down and scaling, and UWT reset being removed, I was going to get rid of my OTG assist anyway. Not needing an OTG assist to be able to do something off of an air throw is a bonus at this point.
hmm. i hope you can do more from spideys OTG than just go into MS. but then with the decreased blockstun on it im not expecting there to be enough hitstun to continue the combo when spidey gets to the ground. maybe you can web ball into webzip and the ball will connect after the zip and keep them in hitstun just long enough to continue a combo so spidey wont need the use of an assist after an OTG.
if that doesn’t work you can always try it the other way around. zip otg cancel into web ball. of course this is assuming the otg gives it enough time to combo into one another. but the web ball cancel into the zip otg does sound like it would work best or have a good combo extender assist to follow the otg
I hope you can extent a combo with an assist… but it looks like they recover to quickly. I’m thinking, with my team, finish in the air, call Doom rocks, j Web Zip, let the rocks hit, sH, UWT… should do pretty good damage
Hmm after looking at it looks Iike web zip is meant to follow up after air throws now which I can think of quite a few follow ups for. As for after long combos looks like you won’t get much off of it even with an assist but I can definitely see it converting random damage into something better.
