I have to ask, because I’m really thinking about switching my team up
What do you guys think of Viper with Spider-Man? I tested out their synergy for Vanilla, and it was really good – they even DHC well, and do big damage! I’m just worried that Spider-Man’s damage nerf may hurt the team
also, who do you guys think would be a good assist for them? I’m thinking Doom, but I don’t know if I can do any unblockable viper setups with him…
Can Ultimate Spider-Man really cancel ALL his specials(Web swing, Spider sting, and web ball) with web zip? Or was that exagerated? uz the ability to cancel spider sting sounds kinda f’n wild!
Seriously. Why can’t they give him a new tool or something? His moveset is so meager by comparison to others. He’s Spider-Man, give him some more stuff, like a web-hammer or something. Heck, just another fun move at least. I’m really skeptical about this whole special cancel thing. They’re making this sound like it solves everything. Probably gonna be nothing and he’ll be even worse in the end.
i hope the game isnt gonna be purely zoning, shit is fucking annoying to play against. blocking during airdash was sooo good for spidey esp since his is so long as well. one of the longest in the game easily.

it really sucks just because spiderman’s normal jump arc is really too high and it doesn’t go far enough
if the nerf is true this’ll make us have to be much better at calling assists correctly
I kinda hope that they just didn’t go through every airdash but they probably could have
amaterasu was the most obvious. also she has more angles on her wavedash than

-hsien ko
-morrigan
v joe
-dante
skrull
etc. I just feel like it’s not too fair because spidey/hsien/joe/skrull can’t cancel their airdashes by going into the ground without pressing buttons like the 8 way dashers can. it makes airdashing really unsafe and only for mixups instead of mobility, which is kinda dumb. the reason why 8 way airdashers will stay safe with their airdashes is their ability to not be vulnerable during their airdashes that long by just going to the ground. dante won’t have too many problems because his actually ends quickly.
spiderman’s lasts so long that you’re pretty much at risk as soon as you airdash, instead of as soon as you choose to attack out of airdash. i just don’t get it right now x_x
amaterasu easily gets hit out of her horizontal airdash now, but at least she can airdash down forward and reduce her vulnerability…
great so when i fight a god damn zoning Deadpool with Dante jam session assist or like hidden missiles I’ll be screwed. Does anyone know why capcom wanted this game to be more zoning and less rushdown?
how long does it take to recover from an air light? if you recovered quickly then you could just do that halfway through the dash and block. you would fall though. and look retarded
