actually he picked it up specifically to counter sent in the very beginning when he was getting facerolled by floe. he decided to lab it up and came out with new sentinal disassembling technology. and same thing with she-hulk/tron. after we saw clakey d’s initial abuse of tron assist, he put 2 and 2 together and paired it with she hulk to make air grab resets unfuckwitable. and since then, the dick riders have come in full force…

I think it goes to show how derpy Phoenix can be, most players still can’t play her for shit outside of jumping homing shots and teleporting into feverish mashing of c.L; yet these guys end up in top 8 giving “top players” trouble.

Just a few matches ago Tinh was pulling off the sickest combos, 15 minutes later he’s missing hitconfirms off Taskmaster’s Charging Star.

Sorry didn’t mean to make seem like I was still talking about Tinh specifically. I was talking about Phoenix players in general, they have no contingency plan for getting snapped most of the time besides try and get up into the air and throw balls till they can tag back out.

For real.As soon as I saw Daigo do that I instantly thought of it as an MVC3 style ‘low forward fireball’ or ‘low forward super’.
Also found it hilarious that Daigo did an Ume shoryu into beam super with Akuma lol. Its cool to see players taking concepts from other games and applying them in completely different engines.
Overall I only really found his Dante interesting.I would say ‘stay free Daigo’ but he did make top 8 in his first US MVC3 tournament and we all know who else made top 8 in his first USA MVC3 tournament before and then went on to win the next major he attended. Because of that, I still think I could see an upset at EVO.
