I’m not a big Spencer fan personally, but I love what Mag beam does for Dante, Wesker, and Dorm. If you’re deadset on having Mags in the 1-spot, ignore me. But if you’re down to either Anchor him or have him 2nd (which I do for TAC to DHC glitch), then teams like Dante Dorm Mag or Dante Mag Wesk/Dorm or Dante Wesk (or Wesk Dante) Mag are all really sick. The idea being that Magneto’s beam assist makes all 3 of those characters’ teleports really REALLY nasty.
Well, the only reason I point Mags now is to DHC glitch into my second character, so I never thought of putting him as second or anchor. I never thought of TACing to DHC. Im assuming this is using the staircase combo, but I am only now trying to get the hypergrav corner loop down, so i dont know. Im not gonna lie, I like characters with teleports, and Mags beam assist is REALLY good, so I can definately see myself running a Dante/ Mags/ Wesker or Wesker/ Mags/ Dorm team.
No I TAC right into addf grav tempest. You can staircase into it, but I dont execute that well LOL
Oh alright, that sounds more manageable XD. I’ll have to hit the lab tomorrow and see which team I like better. Dorm is a good anchor, but he needs meter to be effective, so Wesker might fit that role better.
Both Dante and Dorm completely break Mag beam assist, so if you want to play those 3, I recommend Dante Dorm Mag. But starting Dante Mag gives you the easy TAC to DHC glitch TODs that I like (which, frankly, is about the only way I’m TOD-ing with those guys anyway, so it’s a win win!). With those two first, I tried many anchors, Akuma, Sent, Tron, Haggar, Wesk, and Dorm. And IMO, Wesker Akuma and Sent are the best. Theoretically Wesk might be the best since hes such a strong anchoring character and has the low assist, but personally I really REALLY like drones with Dante, not to mention theyre obviously really good for Maggy too. Plus Sent isn’t bad in XF either. AND the Mag DHC glitch combos you were practicing get to be used as well if Dante dies, you can go straight from Mag to Sent. Come to think of it, works for Wesker too 
Anyway, if you want to use Dorm, I say go Dante Dorm Mag. If you’re OK not playing Dorm, then go either Dante Mag Sent or Dante Mag Wesk. I’ve never had more fun with Marvel than I have since playing those two teams, straight up!
To be honest, it’s kind of futile to discuss new team strategies at this point since this game is only alive for another 2 weeks.
By the time Ultimate roles around, a Magneto-centric team will have a completely different shell since the DHC Glitch is removed. Magneto in front is going to be less and less prevalent since he can no longer kill in one hit anymore. He’ll probably be relegated to second position now since his assist is still godlike and he can get alot out of an offensive assist.
Din0, even then, Magneto still benefits greatly from having an OTG assist and lockdown assist, so I still expect to see him on a point position. For example, I have Magneto Wesker Sent, and the Drones give me the chance to riverdance all over a lockd’d opponent while Wesker allows me to occasionally slip in an unblockable.
He’s still a rushdown reset monster with low health. Which usually means point.
I used to run that team too, but without DHC Glitch, I think Wesker warrants a point position moreso than Magnus. Wesker ports + EM Disruptor is just too dumb to pass up. You can still TOD with two meters if you combo, TAC downwards into Magneto, do a fly combo [if you still can…] and Gravity Squeeze.
I don’t know because even without magneto, Wesker still keeps Sentinel drones assist and he has some pretty dirty stuff with that too (though not as disgusting as Beam+Teleport).
Regardless, I find it that this team has plenty of choices to rotate between Wesker and Magneto as point character (TAC, DHCs and even hard tags post-character kill), so they both capitalize quite nicely on each other.

I think Ima be running Strange/Magneto/Sent in Ultimate. I originally wanted Vergil on my team, but I think Strange would benefit a lot from Drones and he has the fastest teleport in the game. Mix that up with Disruptor assist and that’ll probably be the nastiest left/right mixup in the game.
i got quotes for days…i used jill with drones n it was the shit…strange and drones is even better
Only thing is drones are apparently a true block string now. So left right will be much more “fair.”
I’m glad left/right is getting nerfed, at least in that aspect. it’s about time people start learning some legit high-low bullshit. Almost every character in this game has a fuzzy guard instant-OH setup, learn them.
Even though I use it a lot, Teleport+Beam is retarded.
Yeah teleport beam is my fav thing to do in the whole game.
My Team is Magneto (Disruptor), Sent (Drones), and Phoenix… I sometimes use Taskmaster, but I still find it hard to get in with this team (I SUX)
only because I feel like everytime I call my assist they hit sentinel and my assist is null… LOL
Its not fool proof depending on opponent and matchup, but simple disruptah before and after can often sufficiently protect a drone call.

I can’t wait for the DLC to get released so I can run team Revolution.
