Back into this game, Hsien Ko/Strider is so sick they work so well together.
The loop still works, I did 3 reps in the corner last night to take out a friend’s character.
Yeah I have been testing it. I was able to do it 4 times but it seems to get harder after every time it seems, tighter timing I think.
Also Jux the combo you posted is so sick. It takes a bit getting use to but its pretty viable and so good. Thanks for the find!
The one thing I found difficult was maintaining the loop timing while mashing. I think I have the rhythm right now, though…
Also has anyone come up with good anti-air combos (like off of her :f::h:)? I think LL.ND did some on the WNF stream tonight, but I don’t remember what they were.
Anyone managed to do a jump cancel combo by starting from a IAD double air M or air M air S combo? I’m having a hard time getting the air S to connect since starting the combo that way pushes them a bit far away. I’m having no trouble starting with an air H, but that scales the combo pretty hard.
Edit: Almost got the combo down. I was doing the jump cancel wrong as I have to do air H very early then normal then do a very late S to make it possible to follow it up.

Same Meter pretty much, ever so slight damage increase. Like in the 10 thousands.
Using j. 427,300 before Tenrai-Ha
Using j.:h: 418,400 before Tenrai-Ha
Edit: It is possible to do j. instead of j.:h: for both parts. It does 423,100 before Tenrai-Ha.

Actually, this post was really created so I could suggest a simple “Senjutsu Magic: The Hsien-Ko Combo Thread” for the new title. A little boring, but it makes sense.
I need to try that 800k combo at the top of the page just to see it. I won’t be playing her much in Ultimate, but I’ll probably take her to the lab every once in a while just for kicks.
Wait I thought Senjutsu is different from magic. Isn’t there a difference?
Oh man I have to do this now or I’ll go crazy lol. I guess the jump cancels really did buff her damage significantly.
God, I wish she had a better launcher. It is literally one of her three biggest problems and it insults the rest of her above average normals.
Actually, you’re right, d’oh. She even says they’re different in one of her new winquotes. So scratch that. “Senjutsu Skills?”
Apparently her launcher has more horizontal range now, but I don’t know how big of a difference it is. But yeah, let’s give a character with good range on her normals the normal she has from her series with the least amount of horizontal range on it without doing anything about said range. Good thinking.
