This guide would be infinitely more awesome if it was released a week before the actual game release. For some reason guide makers dont understand that people buy guides in response to hype.
We don’t have a lot of control over that, unfortunately. Last minute deadlines and such prevent that. We always aim for an early release though, it’s preferred. We just can’t always do it.

Kamui one thing you could probably do is to get the Guide into some kind of combo with the game. Game+Guide=win.

You have a 400 page art book which still looks cool? Still worth it.

This is the first game to legitimately get me to buy the guide with it since Brawl XD
I didn’t quite go through that for SFIV, but I did sell my Wii for it coz I had no money that February…
Anyways, even if the guide is ‘made obsolete’ by new strats in two months, there’s still the frame data, plus BnB combos and whatnot for total n00bs like me. It’s more than worth the 11.55 just to have that all in one place and not buried 100 pages into some thread in a subforum, haha…
You can make those first two months fast, or you can make them slow and bumbling.
