Yup. Thats old footage dude. He’s lost his air dash and his double jump. That video was taken back when the game was closer to “TvC2” then it was “MvC3”. And currently it doesn’t look like KFCing adds anything to many characters at all, and I swear I remember hearing that Capcom was going to remove any and all character specific buffs that KFCing gives.
I didn’t say he didn’t KNOW how to handle it. I said he knew at the end that he didn’t handle the entire situation correctly. Getting tied up in that battle at all was a bad move. Everything else you said is a matter of opinion so I won’t get into that argument. Many people also enjoyed the event as much as you hate it.
I expect writers to be creative, and Civil War was. It didn’t adhere to the whole “this is how these characters act and they should always be like this because if not fans will be butthurt” point of view.
I will agree the whole return of Steve being BS though. They probably should have left him dead. People might have warmed up to Bucky easier if they didn’t throw Steve back in our faces.
They took out his double jump?? WTF? :annoy:
That was one of his best options in MSH; short hop into double jump to fake out opponents. He’s basically MSH Cap with the added return hit on the Shield Slash and they remove that option?
What’s next? Remove Cartwheel? :arazz:
While it didn’t make sense canonically (double jumps for characters that can’t alter momentum or gravity doesn’t either I guess…), I wish he still had one.
He should keep double jump. I want the all jab air combo back.

I see. Yeah sorry wasn’t too thrilled with it XD , I’ll keep that nerd rage inside. Well to be fair the most creative aspect of that storyline in my opinion was the inclusion of the villians. That truthfully shook some things up , I’ll tell you that much

Yeah it was bull. Honestly they shouldn’t have ever killed him off. I don’t read recent books really anymore so you can correct me on anything I don’t know here. But from what I gathered , Steve is like just sitting around in S.H.I.E.L.D now? I mean wtf is the point. It’s not that people HATE Bucky or Bucky as the new Captain. He’s just so badass and was way more cooler as the winter soldier that he really couldn’t have donned the helm , he should have been his own thing. Which I still believe will happen , because EVERYONE knows he gonna eventoully put Steve back in the suit. Steve is Captain America. I mean that’s like when they killed off Batman and everyone heard that rumor that (Dick Greyson?) was going to don his suit. I mean you cannot replace Bruce Wayne , it’s just impossible.
Steve Rogers has one of the greatest storylines in Marvel , period. As bad ass as Bucky is now. They’re two seperate entities.
Also , how do you feel about his new Captain America Suit? It’s like half black at the bottom or something? It’s not TERRIBLE to me but if they wanted to , I wouldn’t mind seeing it in MvC3 as an alt costume.
I really liked how CapAm felt in NYCC build. The Hyper Charging Star has a huge vertical range, finally giving him a overhead punish. The new boomerang hit on Shield Slash brings a lot of opportunity for rushdown. I’ve liked Cap since a friend showed me how good he was in MvSF, but he never seemed credible competitively - even in arcades. I think he has broken into a new tier’ just by getting improvements and tweaks to existing skills.
I am very happy to hear that. Cap has always been my favorite hero, and I’ve always played him. I’ll be glad to see that hes better then he was before. 
Agreed 100% , as well as him being my favorite superhero (I was rocking this epic Capt A t-shirt with him and red skull on it) , he really was one of the top on the build. He plays fantastically and like how he always should have been. He’s like batman with a shield. And his shield comes back so quick now it’s awesome. His flips and stuff connect into some awesome combos and charging star really is the shit now.
An airdash and double jump for the finalized version of Cap would’ve been nice.
I LOVE the new costume actually lol. I actually did some photoshopping of the Cap artwork for the game to make it an alt costume cuz I was bored, I might upload it later. I agree Buck is pretty awesome at the moment, and I wouldn’t mind him staying cap honestly. I’m pretty sure he’ll have a long run before giving it back if at all.
I think the current incarnation of Steve is more personal. We’ve known him as a war hero, we’ve known him as an Avenger, and we’ve known him as Cap. Now we get to know him as Steve and kind of get a new angle on him. It’s interesting to say the least. He’s not exactly sitting around SHIELD. He has a few different books going on actually. The Secret Avengers book he just went to Mars and jacked up some terrorists and whooped up on Nova (wont spoil the story). Avengers Prime is pretty cool limited series. Steve Rogers - Super Soldier is pretty much his impersonation of Nick Fury on roids. Also did some combat training for Avengers Academy. He’s all over the place now.

He doesn’t need airdash.
I don’t like the idea of him having an airdash. I like his ways of getting around now and I hope they give him back double jump (I assumed he had it) so he has something like his old air combos.
I know this isn’t game related but it’s too awesome to not share with everybody.
