I wasn’t having any luck trying that either. The characters seem to be bouncing too low when I go for the u.H. It worked so well for me yesterday because I was trying it against Hulk. Maybe it just has critical timing?

Go to the 3:40 mark. It’s all crouching hits for the startup, but I don’t see how that being different should impact the combo that you listed. He seems to pull of connecting the jumping u.H just fine. I can’t tell, but could he possibly be SUPER jumping to land that air u.H?
Hmmm…he’s not super jumping. That’s mostly the same combo that I do. Dormammu’s a big guy like Hulk though, so I’m still not sure if it matters per character.

Well said, I ran into a large number of Cap’s online near the end of the original mvc3’s lifespan…there was only 1 that I considered dangerous in anyway…and he was just using Tron and cartwheel’s.
We are still very much a pretty exclusive group, I say give it a few weeks before things get back to ‘normal’.

The same with hawkeye. . . .so many hawkeye players, even pro’s. But in a few weeks I feel like there won’t be that many people still using him, especially at a high level. Hes a very technical character and most people i see play him just abuse the slide and barely shoot any arrows.
Oh yea last night i also realized i’ve become spoiled lol. I’m slowly starting to rely too much on his cartwheel and i’m getting blown up for it lol. I have to remember my MvC3 roots! Combo wise cap is a different character, but in terms of getting the hit. . . He’s the same old steve rogers.
The same? Throws matter now thus making his mixup game relevant. Before it was very sub par even to open people up with assist
I actually have a reason to throw with Cap, but I can’t figure out anything from forward throws.
Cap’s ChargingStar assist is actually pretty great now as it is on of the few assists that soft knockdown, there’s some projectile invincibility there also

Is FJ in that sentence a DHC? AKA are you doing 717 mil solo and 940 after DHC? If so, I have my own comparable one:
cr L, cr. M, cr. H, SS H, Jump, j. H (Or j. Up H, depending on the character), SS M, CS L, S, j. M, j. M, j. H, j. S, SS L, [Insert CS H if midscreen here], HCS (Obviously mash like crazy), DHC into Skrull’s Inferno (Mash), Stupid ass Skrull corner resets.

So far I absolutely love the new Cap, and he seems to do good against a large part of the cast. The only one who seems to give me trouble at all is Ghost Rider. Well, Trish has too, but I think that was more of the player than the character.
It definitely has projectile immunity and always knock down but its SUPER vulnerable so i hate it. Lol
How do you guys use cap mid screen? His ss’s have quite a bit of recovery so i get blown up by teleporters a lot, especially wesker. Also, jumping around trying to land that down j.c or j.s is too predictable imo.
tiger knee light sheild slash. it’s like -1 on landing. also, you can double jump now. it helps a little with the jumping in. don’t forget, cap has one of the faster wave dashes in the game. he can cover a ton of space with assists. also, h. charging star is a full screen punish that east projectiles.
Well, I figured out why I started dropping the combo, and now I’m always hitting it again. Not sure if you’re doing the same thing, but for me, after the initial standing H shield slash, when I went to jump I wasn’t hitting the u.H early enough. Surprisingly, you can input the u.H the instant Cap jumps up. It seems like he connects with the tips of his toes, and it works great. Same with the followup L shield slash and jumping u.H. Hope this helps!
So I went to MLG Providence and Marn, Skisonic, and Markman were there at the madcatz booth with a UMvC3 and AE setup. Lol right when I saw Marn I was like “Marn I’m gonna body you! Get on that setup right now lol” He was like " Dude I got 36 wins your not gonna change that lol" So i kept talking trash while he played AE and I played marvel lol. I was just kinda disposing of everyone else there, besides skisonic he knew how to block really well. But in the end I still beat skisonic like 4-3 or something. Lol then Marn comes over and looks at me playing and is like “Dude WTF? Your talking trash and then picking Captain America??? Oh hell no lol I don’t even wanna face you now, I want a real opponent!” . . . .Thats when I went into “beast mode”. When he said that I nearly perfected the guy I was facing lol and then Marn was like “Ok ok, I’ll ft5 you”. Long story short I lost 5-1, but I still managed to take a match off of Marn when he was using dante,zero,wesker. I think thats pretty good for a 16 year old lol. If I’m competing with him now, by the time I become his age how good will I be then? On another note lol. Marn is a really cool dude, and hes not as fat as everyone thinks either. The whole day I faced him like nine times and I managed to beat him twice. Yesterday was a great day lol, I really want to go back today but I’m not sure if I can. I think the funniest part was after he beat me with zero he said, “You might be the best Captain America, but me. . . . I’m the best points at the win screen of zero”

Anti-beam super if dhc’d from HCS, anti-phoenix tech potentially, anti-don’t-press-buttons tech. This super is being slept on hard, especially when combined with xfc1/2/3.

Marn is the funniest trash talker ever.
My favorite thing he’s said so far was at Season’s Beatings when everyone’s watching Flocker body people the first day and someone comes up to him and this exchange happens:
Other guy: "So are you still the best Zero?"
Marn: "Are you fucking serious?"
Other guy: "It’s a legitimate question…"
Marn: “I’m the only Zero. Now go think about what you just said and come back when you know why you’re stupid.”

Also anyone notice j. d H got nerfed? It seems to have a lot less priority and/or range now. It doesn’t beat Berserker Slash (The hit portion) anymore. Granted it doesn’t need to now that you can knock him out of the running part, but yeah…
