Captain America is one of the worst characters imo
Ok Gimpy it’s one thing to realize your characters limitations but its another to blatantly bash on him. Dude I disagree with you on that point.
I’d say he’s lower mid tier at best, but in this game it doesn’t matter as much as it would in other games since you can build a team around him to augment his strengths.
Out of curiosity, what makes you think that? The ability to 0-death off of a projectile alone puts him higher than that in my eyes.
I think he’s totally viable but i also think he’s among the worst. Has some awesome matchups has some good mixups but he also has some large problems. Game is balanced well enough with a few exceptions. If he actually has an otg and all the other buffs he’s gonna tear it up in ultimate because he really didn’t need much imo

He’s looking beastly in Ultimate. Can’t wait. People already rage at my Cap… it’s going to be great 
the great thing about UMVC3 also are the nerfs done to x-factor, and nerfing of the TOP tier characters especially MAG, wolv, phoe, dante, wesk, zero(all of which were terrible matchups). CAP didn’t really need X-factor, if you left CAP as your last character then you did something wrong :D.
lol on my messing around teams I leave Cap on anchor and make 3v1 comebacks lol
Safe on block charging star. That would make it easier for him to get in safely without an assist. For me, that’s my main reason why I would never use him as an anchor he has no safe ways of getting in close and opening up an opponent. Glad they gave him an otg, hopefully shield slash really is faster giving him the opportunity to shin in the corner as well.
I also agree with what gimpy said about cap. He would know more than any of us I would think.

I’ve been taking a break from this game, but now that Steve Rogers is looking good for Ultimate I want to get back into it. Went and saw the midnight release of First Avenger and got even more pumped! looks like most of us will be Hawkeye players too haha
All I know is Hawkeye will definitely be on one of my teams lol

I would like to know Cap’s pros and cons and understand why he’s so underrated? Is it because he’s almost useless in the corner?
Has no way of getting in safely, or keeping people out safely, lack of otg attacks, very difficult to make him shine in the corner. Average damage by himself compared to other top tier characters. Has no autopilot/flowchart playing properties, lacks rapid fire on all of his normals except for standing jab. No high-low mixup abilities, crossup skills are somewhat lack luster compared to characters like zero and wolverine, as well as his crossup being less safe than there’s. Not the best character to DHC from, and requires careful precision to figure what supers can compliment his, and vice verse.
