You see, this is why they should have kept her AIR DELTA KICK from MvC2. With that being said, she absolutely needs an AA assist and characters in her team that are excellent in the air.
Also, in regards to Rolling Buckler uppercut, it is a great resetting tool after a knockdown toy touch follow-up. Use it after an air series or after PHM and once you get the timing for the toy touch otg and jump cancel correctly, use the heavy version of RBU to maximize your damage. The combo stun will finally wear off after the uppercut and you can mix it up with an air throw reset, or with more rushdown tactics. :3
I think there are instances where ending a combo with TT jxx RBU makes them recover from the ball hit too quickly for Uppercut to hit so using L version to stop the ball from hitting will save some headaches.
Wall cling. It basically gives you a full screen jump.
Wall Cling is not nearly as useful as a dive kick. :\
Wall cling has saved my ass quite a lot of times. Normally my opponent isn’t expecting it (sometimes even I don’t expect it!) and then she jumps forward and I’m able to give them some red stripes. Fufufu~
Question, how the hell do I land st.L after a buckler slide? I have no clue how the timing on this works, or what to follow it up with.
Also can somebody compile a list of Felicia BnBs if they have any? I need to practice this.
It’s just timing, I find it best to observe your opponent’s fall state rather than Felicia, you pick them up very low so just don’t rush it.
The usual follow-up is LMdfM j.MMHS S sj.MMHS dfM > whatever but I find that too easy to mess up so I just follow-up with a simple LMHS etc.

It doesn’t. Tagging out automatically ends the super.
I also just realized that when it comes to Felicia’s air throw, all the damage is in the impact, not the “roll.” This is kind of an issue when she has her Kitty Helper out. More than a few times I’ve scored an air throw on an opponent, only for them to collide with the Kitty Helper who was in mid-pounce. This turns an 80k damage + combo opportunity into a 25k damage + sudden air recovery for the opponent. Kitty Helper? More like Kitty Hinderer!
Eh - I honestly think that cases when I lose with Felicia are cases when I should have been spamming Kitty Helper more often. It’s an unbelievable amount of pressure, especially against common-man-favorites like Sentinel and Hulk.
I honestly just keep forgetting about it, but I seriously think that if you have even just one level of super and you don’t already have Kitty Helper out, you’re making the fight harder than it has to be. The only real problem I have with it is that it immediately goes away as soon as you do another super, as there have been times when I’d activate it and then immediately get my opponent into a combo that lets me do a Rolling Buckler or Please Help Me.
By the way, what moves do you guys use the most often? I personally tend to spam DP+A (fairly safe + chip damage) as well as Reverse DP+C (gap closer). If I’m running down the clock (to prevent resurrecting a Dark Phoenix), I tend to do a lot of Wall Clings + Jumps. I tend to EX Charge under the cover of an assist a lot, too. I used to do a lot of Rolling Slides, but it seems like everyone has caught on to this.
Any upper deck moves I’m missing? I tried to use Cat Crawl and DP+C, but both seem to just leave me too vulnerable for me to even bother leaving in my tool belt.
Lately I’ve been on a Sand Splash and Rolling Buckler high, though I think I’ve been using the uppercut too often in situation where it’s punishable. Sand Splash is pretty damn great though. It’s unexpected and usually catches people off guard. It beats a lot of projectiles and is a great lead in for Dancing Flash. The charge time is really short too, like 1 second.
It is annoying when the cute kitten breaks a combo but if she’s still out she’ll probably get you another opening so it works out in the end :3 Problem is finding a time to sneak it in since Felicia can’t hide behind projectiles or whatever when trying to activate it. Waiting for a new character to jump in or cancelling a Sand Splash probably your best bet.
If I’m playing someone who doesn’t push block much I like to do a sneaky L Cat Spike after a blocked string and go into Hellcat. Otherwise I’ll use M Delta Kick to close the gap again (sometimes with an assist to help), H Delta Kick when other side of the screen but not against people with projectiles. Wall Cling is good for getting across the screen too but it’s a little telegraphed, would be better if her cross-ups were better too then jumping over people with it would be pretty deadly.
H Cat Spike is great VS Sentinel, otherwise I use it if I’m expecting them to jump or trying to catch them as a new character jumps in. Cat Crawl I rarely use too.
It makes me sad knowing that snapping someone out disables your kitty helper.

Well, I just learned the hard way that Captain America’s Charging Star beats out Felicia’s Please Help Me.
Just got back from a Con and did pretty well for the first two hours, but every match after that I got my ass cut. Gotta work on my endurance, I suppose, because my execution faded pretty drastically as time went on.
Viper’s Emergency Combination and Viewtiful Joe’s Mach Speed go through it as well. Also learned those the hard way lol
What the hell, Felicia’s level 3 should catch everything if you’re not guarding. This is bullfuck!
I guess it’s because Felicia’s Level 3 has a unique type of hit box where it needs to make contact with the opponent WITHOUT invincibility for it to go into the cutscene. Everybody else it should work fine except Cap, VJ and Viper’s insanely prioritized level 1 hypers lol
