Well it’s not really her I use them for, it’s my other characters who lack it. However, if the OTG assist hits low, Cat Spike hits overhead making some unblockables without Kitty Helper.
Just remember that only the :h: version of Cat Spike hits overhead.
Rolling Buckler Slide assist works wonders with Wesker’s low gun shot, so there’s that for me.
Shuma is super squishy and lovable and sexy. His combos are just awesome!
Yeah, only :h:, but it basically locks down the opponent if they don’t have a teleport. If they jump, :h: Cat Spike ground bounces and if they attack, counter hit :h: Cat Spike ground bounces also.
I don’t use them Ideally what you want is something that makes your own Toy Touch OTG easier to use (i.e. removes the need of jump cancelling and adds more damage). Deadpool’s Quick Work is great for this, allows me to combo into Dancing Flash mid-screen without the need to dash and into Please Help Me in the corner :3 Only downside is I can’t DHC if I use him since he won’t be ready in time
I’m not interested in Shuma, tentacle-monster plus cat-girl… would hate to think of the doujin people would make (goes to look :P) Shuma has nice funny back-and-forth with Hsien-Ko though :3
If you want to DHC AND still use your assist, use Deadpool as a 3rd character

He is currently on my #3 slot, I have Felicia open with Hsien-Ko in #2 so I can DHC into Dark Force if I find the opportunity I have been playing arcade mode a lot with Deadpool in the #2 spot with #3 spot for whoever I’m trying to get the title of playing 30 times with
Can DHC with Hsien-Ko even if Deadpool isn’t ready? Hsien-Ko’s DHCs are kinda hit or miss with Dancing Flash Swords is good mid-screen but otherwise the spiked balls can not fully combo or something depending on the height of the opponent when DHC, might just be better off going for throw reset :3
Hsien-Ko’s DHCs are only really good close to the corner, anywhere else, I’d go for a throw reset.
I still prefer Cuttin’ Time DHC into Kitty Helper for that tricky reset. Helps bunches.
I can’t think of a better reason to use him with Felicia.
I might just use him to take the place of Zero, as he just dies way too quickly, yet still builds meter fairly well. Too bad he doesn’t have a color option that goes with Felicia (or anyone aside from green characters, for that matter.) Yes, style is important.
That’s pretty much the opposite of what I said Mid-screen if they do a backwards air recovery after Dancing Flash there’s no way you can snatch them in the air (and people probably will want to get away from Felicia :3), guess you can skip Dancing Flash and try for the throw reset anyways.
I’ve had mixed success with Tenraiha (spiked balls) as DHC after Dancing Flash, I think you need to DHC before the launching kick otherwise they seem to hop out of it randomly, that “works” regardless of wherever on the screen you are.
Cheireitou (swords) works great mid-screen after Dancing Flash, get the whole load landing and there’s even time afterwards to switch to Deadpool and connect Happy Happy Trigger =3 There’s not really any point in using it in the corner as at most you’ll get two swords hitting, can use it to DHC to another after but then you might as well just DHC into Dark Force to do that and get an awesome assist out of it in the process :3

Only going to use Shuma in green? I tried a black & red scheme with Felicia, Deadpool & Hsien-Ko but I prefer their original colours more :3
What I meant was that Tenraiha is only really good in the corner, Cheritou is great midscreen, but not corner. So you do have options.
Also, blue Shuma (Indigorath) and blue Felicia. Problem solved.
Quick question here: If you call Kitty Helper against Ammy and you have the kitty out and Ammy does the Okami Shuffle hyper, can the kitty hit Ammy during OS while you are blocking or is she too high? I haven’t tested this yet but it was just something that was on my mind.
For one, you’d have to be close to Ammy for it to work, which usually isn’t the case since if you are going to throw it out outside of a combo, then you probably wont be in range to punish. If Ammy does it on the ground, you might be able to catch her out of hit since the helper jumps pretty high. If she does it from the air, I’m not sure.
Try it out in training :3 I’ve seen someone block the first load then dash up and air grab Amaterasu out of that :o
Air grab is the best way to do it AFTER, but this strategy is mainly for avoiding chip damage. I’m gonna test this out and let you guys know soon enough.

What you guys think about using H Cat Spike to try and catch new characters jumping in? Not really sure about the priority on it but it’s a free combo on hit. Also B+H (Arrow kick, Kitty slash, whatever it’s called) seems to work quite well as an AA :3
Try not to use it against Wolverine though. Dive kick beats Cat Spike.
It might work on big guys since they have slow startup especially Haggar.

That should probably work on Magneto too since they are technically flying. Wouldn’t really call it a glitch though. It’s just wavedashing under characters with flight. Sort of like the same way Deadpool can just dash under Mags and Storm with ease. :3
