MvC3: Becoming a Hellcat: The Felicia Combo Thread

You can do c.M rather than standing but it does less damage, you can’t do c.H as that causes a knock down and it’ll ruin the juggle after (and does less damage). I love Felicia’s H as the 3-hits make it very easy to hit confirm with.

Would you get “more damage” (i.e. kill them quicker) if you X-Factored into L Cat Spike loop sooner since there’d be less damage scaling to start? :3

Probably there would be. We gotta test the damage on the Delta Kick loop.

Anyways, I was looking into that DHC trick with Deadpool/Felicia and I got this nifty little combo here:

DP: j.:s:, c.:l::m::h::s: j. :m::m::h::s: Katana-Rama! into Chimichangas!! (:f::d::df::h:>:h:) follow up with :h: into :l: Quick Work (:qcb::l:) into Cuttin’ Time (:qcb: :atk::atk:). Right before the last hit, DHC into Felicia’s Kitty Helper (:f::d::df: :atk::atk:).

Felicia: While your opponent is still spinning in the air, dash up to them and use the Toy Touch BnB combo (:df::m: j.:m::m::h::s: land :s:, j.:m::m::h::s:) OTG with Toy Touch again into Dancing Flash (:qcf::atk::atk:)

Result was over 900,000 damage with two bars and no X-factor. :3 Pretty useful if you ask me.

Sweet, I was trying to use Cutting Time DHC into Kitty Helper or Hsien-Ko’s Dark Force but found it hard to connect afterwards :x

Have any of you guys played around with kitty helper super at all? Do you just do your normal combo? I’m thinking there might be some unique combos made possible by helper kitty, but I really wouldn’t know where to start.

Also, is the throw bnb the the combo toy touch > air string > st.m > toy touch > air string > juggle > launch > ender? Getting that to work midscreen is a real bitch, and it feels pretty character specific. The extra jump does net you like 100k more damage though.

One last little tip. If you have a hard time with the final juggle before launching them up with s try just doing st.m > cr.h > s. I think because they have to fall for a split second longer to hit the sweep it gives you a lower launch that is easier to combo off of, especially midscreen.

Kitty Helper is best used after a snapback, after a full Dancing Flash, and when you kill off an opponent. Calling in her kitty would leave Felicia open and her kitty friend would have to travel from one side of the screen to the other. Also, make use of Cat Crawl after you call her for mix-up purposes.

I think the Hellcat BnBx2 MIGHT be character specific. I gotta test this out on the entire cast to confirm this.

Does St.:m: Cr.:h: :s: do more damage than the toy touch relaunch into air string? Otherwise I might start using that more.

Sorry, I may have worded that vaguely. I was mainly inquiring as to if any one had played around with the kitty helper super in regards to making combos specifically that incorporate the little cat into the combos ala Zero’s dloop, or Dante’s devil trigger combos.

That’d be pretty impossible to do since you can never fully control her :x

After any throw that can be followed up with Toy Touch, after the j.MMHS you can do LMH(3 hits)c.HS etc. I know Trag’s have it starting with M but since L comes out faster I think it makes it a little easier :3

Plus if you do use another hyper or DHC out of it, the helper will leave.
And L Hellcat has more range, so you’ll be using it more often than not. It’s the one you should practice with the most.

I may have gotten something down regarding Kitty Helper’s combo capability. More news on that coming soon.

Doing a typical LMH(3) with Kitty Helper allows you to connect H Cat Spike (if they’re standing and probably misses the smaller cast) but don’t think there’s much point in it :stuck_out_tongue:

With Lv3 X-Factor you can do 3 loops of LMH(3) xx L Cat Spike before having to do a straight S launch, nets just under 800K before air combo. Have to delay the super jump and probably do LMHS then typical Toy Touch jump cancelled into Dancing Flash and that does 1,513,400. Not as effective as during the straight loop but a darn sight easier :stuck_out_tongue:

I’ve been messing around with dhcing into kitty helper super. I still haven’t gotten around to setting up specific combos with the helper kitty yet just because of being busy, but I have noticed that in some instances when I go to launch with S she will be coming down and knock them back down out of the air combo. I’m not sure if there is potential to get another little bit of a ground string, or if there would even be time to combo off of it because as I said I’m not doing it on purpose, but again I think there is potential for at least specific combos dealing with using the helper kitty to add hits in certain spots.

The two ways I would go about looking for them would be first off in combos involving the dhc trick juggling with helper kitty, and then also comboing of an unblockable you set up with her. There might be something where you could juggle them into S, have her knock them down, recover, and possibly loop that.

I would appreciate if some one with more creativity than my self could maybe look into this? Between being busy with work and constantly learning new bnb’s for other characters due to my team being in a constant state of flux, I just haven’t had the time or patience to really beat down this path yet.

What is the point of the kitty’s helper hyper it seems useless to me but I know it’s good for something

Simply; the cute kitten attacks high whilst you attack low = unblockable. Ontop of which she’ll happily jump across the screen from you pressing any buttons so she can give you a way in and possible interrupt attacks as well.

It can interrupt a ton of projectile and beam hypers, just watch out for ones with a lot of invincibility.

By the way at the right timing, you can follow up OTG Toy Touch with Deadpool’s Trigger Happy AA assist and get a :m: or :h: Cat Spike into PHM. I LOVE IT <3

Sadly pressing buttons during hit and block stun won’t make Alto jump around :frowning: BUT what you can do if she’s close enough is just press a button once during a Hyper flash and she’ll hop at them when she’s able to :3

I just use Quick Work into PHM :3 Quick Work works mid-screen too whereas Happy Trigger and Katana-rama are corner only. You can even just finish with a HS airHS if you don’t have meter or don’t want to use it :3
