Yeah that’s why I’ve been centering my team around DHC glitch ATM because that way Wolverine is never THAT bad. If I hit him and i have my DHC characters available he’s gone. When that goes away I’m sure people will be running to XF to make sure he stops doing dumb shit.
lol I think he is basing it off of online Wolverine’s hahaha! Thor might be coming up. He can Aerial Exchange DHC glitch loop just like Amaterasu and Wesker but he only needs to do it once b/c the resulting DHC’s after it lead to death on most of the cast. His triangle jump L combos and is very fast.
The only people “surprised” that _____ character isnt “higher” is because most people in here know the limitations of said character. Its like everyones heard the joke youre about to tell.
When you think top tier means having an OTG or that you cant punish tatsu…well there ya go. Akuma is #1 if you thin Tatsu is unpunishable and his OTG leads to more damage. You dont know enough about the game to say whos good and whos not.
Assuming spidey isn’t in top tier, he’s definitely at the top of mid tier.
No he’s not. lol. At the top of mid tier would have him over Trish, Storm, Taskmaster, Zero, Sentinel.
Just because you win with said character or you LIKE that character doesnt mean they are “upper mid tier”.
Low tier isnt necessarily a bad thing.
Spidey’s great on point but horrible assists, real need for otg assists and bad dhc options inand out idk…

Characters that should come after the ones that barely didn’t make it into top tier (imo):
Thor, Super Skrull, Iron man, Spiderman (no particular order)
Thors solid mid at best. Skrull is upper mid, iron man is a terrible character, and spiderman is barely cutting uppermid
Spidey doesn’t need an OTG assist. Does enough damage by himself. Just needs assists that help him close in and apply mixups.

Nobody said it was nonpunishable, but it is a good move that beats out alot of other moves, the fact that he can also do his own relaunch is also a plus, the fact that he can link multiple hyper combos is another plus… His only negative is short ranged normals. Besides, I wasn’t trying to change anybodys mind, just pointing out some facts.

When top tournament players release a list let me know because otherwise this is all baseless speculation. 99% of us here would get demolished by the top players (and don’t think I’m excluding myself) and that 1% that could hold their own is too busy in the lab, not posting here.
Depending on if Fillipino Champ, Crizzle, Chunksta, And HonzoGonzo are considered top players I do hold my own against them but lack a console so can’t hit the lab except when playing at meetings/sessions/tournies

Most slept on character in the game is Morrigan IMO. Shes incredibly underrated and solid in most areas.
Pros:
-She RAPES armored moves
-Meter assist is great for any team
-She can zone out most characters If you know what youre doing
-builds decent meter on point (builds MASSIVE meter in XF)
-Shadow Servant can counter any hyper in the game, or at VERY worst, trade. (near 30 frames of invincibilty starting on frame 1)
-EASY hit confirms
-can cancel the recovery of ANYTHING she does on hit or whiff with Fly cancels
-Astral Vision is an amazing hyper. Period.
-the only lvl 3 in the game that you can do in the air (super easy to combo into it)
-good hitboxes, many of which are disjointed
-one of the smallest hurtboxes in the game (THE smallest hurtbox when crouching…yes, its smaller than crouched Ammy )
-She can be the recipient of a DHC glitch
-950K health (which is actually a shit ton for someone with her mobility / etc)
-great mobility
-has pretty good matchups vs the entire cast…except Dormammu…
-doesnt need a great assist to be effective
Cons:
-Hard to DHC out of aerial finishing shower and net a lot of extra damage from said DHC
-her damage output isnt stellar. her midscreen BnB does 565K using 1 meter, no xfc, no assist
-nearly all of her approaches start with overheads…she has a semi high/low mixup due to the opponent having to guess how many hits to block high…(J.S can hit up to 3 times, but doesnt always…you can do it lower and hit once then do s.L which hits low )
-if you dont do optimum combos, her combos prorate a shit ton
-can have a hard time catching people who are good at running away (when she doesnt have a decent assist )
-other than her meter build assist, her assists arent that good at all
- only move that can OTG is her dp hyper, Shadow Servant
It might just me being biased (and if so, sorry lol…shes one of my favorite characters of all time) but i think shes really slept on atm. I honestly think shes middle of upper tier, possibly one of the top characters of upper tier. shes DEFINITELY not top 8, but i can definitely see her being anywhere between #11 -#15.

Why is iron man terrible? I know he’s technical and pretty hard to use compared to some other characters, but his basic bnb’s do upward of 600k, his beam assist is great, and he’s easy to DCH into/ out of with many characters. Pretty synergetic with a lot of teams from what I’ve seen.
I don’t think he’s bad enough to be considered low tier.
I’m not very good at this game so grain of salt, etc, but I’m thinking that people are sleeping on Deadpool. He just seems to have a lot of versatility, he can play in your face or keepaway and he can move around the screen pretty quickly (also teleport). He does solid damage, starts the DHC trick, self otgs and can provide an otg assist. His normals are good too, I’m thinking at the least he’s very solid, if not comparatively good. Nobody seems to be talking about him/playing him.
