set your assists to L1 and L2 and with your right hand play with your fingers like a man.
You should learn to play like a man.
A friend of mine and I were playing online, and something interesting happened.
I was blocking Hyper Sentinal Force as Magneto, and I was mashing tag-in for Storm (my 1st assist at the time in case it’s specific), and I was able to not only tag in between the 2nd and 3rd waves, not only did I not eat any of the drones, my tag in dive attack with Storm also whiffed through Sentinal.
Just thought I’d throw that out there in case it might not be an isolated incident.
For the PS3: Is it me or is quick start (switching different characters in the Versus screen before the match starts) disabled when you’re playing online?
:wonder:
If I remember correctly, Preppy said that Marvel was based on the online Japanese DC version (different than either the offline retail Japanese release or American release). In the online version, character switching was not allowed.
I’m not sure if anyone else has had this problem but I just purchased MVC2 and the download time was freakishly quick–but when I went to my games folder on PSN–the game was not there. I tried re-downloading it only to end up with the same results.
Is anyone else having this problem? Should I make a seperate thread for this?
Re-download the Demo version first, then download the activation version. I had this problem too earlier today.

VOICE CHAT PROBLEM
-
steps to reproduce the problem (if known)
**Join any user created room or create your own.
Whether the mic symbol is plain or check marked, no one can hear each other.
Tested it with friends that have mics. ** -
description of what exactly is wrong / what should have happened
** a bug that prevents people with mics/bluetooth from using voice chat in user created rooms.** we should be able to hear each other’s mics without a problem. but even the mic settings for room creation don’t seem to work.
I heard someone’s voice through a TV when I was doing a scoreboard quick match, but when I joined a normal friendly room, I couldn’t hear them or anyone I know that has a mic. and we tried making rooms
with the normal “mic symbol” and the “checked mic symbol.” and they still can’t hear each other.

CUSTOM MUSIC/PLAYLIST MUSIC ONLINE PROBLEM
-
steps to reproduce the problem (if known)
press Home, go to your music, select a music track or playlist. It sounds fine
in the game menus and offline play. but when in a online room, it stops, until you leave the room. be sure to turn the original music audio setting all the way down, since the intention is to listen to your own music in matches online. -
description of what exactly is wrong / what should have happened
** there is a PROBLEM with playing music from our playlist while playing online, it works in the menus,
but it actually worked in the first friendly quick matches I’ve done, after that, it wouldn’t play unless I return to the menus. Unknown how it worked the first matches I had, but afterwards, even scoreboard quick matches wouldn’t play my music once I enter a online room.**
They need to put back manual(human vs human) training mode play…seriously. I want to test to see if there is new 2 character glitches.
Ah! Alright man thanks.
I’m trying that now. I hope it works. Thanks.
Edit:It worked! Thank you.
PS3 version:
The game will literally freeze up randomly when trying to do anything related to online play, even just accessing the menus.
:looney:
Just thank god 2p isn’t in either version. Anybody using 2p wouldn’t fuck up doing the Rom and tri jumping. If I’m on pad and I can Rom, you shouldn’t have any problems with doing supers.
yeah happened to me twice while trying to go online.
i think this is due to the fact of people having voice chat on, it’s happend to me a few times.
It’s there, but the manual option will not show up until you go into that mode with another controller activated.
PS3:
Twice when I’ve tried to refresh a list for friendly matches, it froze my PS3 to the point where I have to cut it off manually.
Also, sometimes the menus wont move until you press X…on or offline.
Netcode seemed pretty good though when fighting
I got that problem also…I try to find a friendly match and my PS3 freezes.
Sounds like the same shit the happens to me on KOFXII.
system: ps3
my game froze very first time i started the game on the startup screen. the screen where it says “marvel characters are a copyright of marevl entertainment…etc etc” it just froze. so i had to reboot. then i try to join some ranked games and after failing to connect to several playres, it freezes again on “refreshing” screen. i reboot and the same thing happens again, and again, and again, including another freeze on the startup screen. i literally did’nt get to play one game after about 5 reboots and i just went back to x360…what a shit job capcom did with this
