for ironman? rocks > drones… i don’t get how you could like drones over rocks either… rocks get ironman free combos all day.
Drones are better in the ground control department; it’s better than any assist on that matter. I just chose storm due to the fact that she holds a good safe dhc and the fact that she can handle IM’s toughest matches (Cable for ex). I would pick Sentinel ovr Storm if the cable’s aren’t that good.
When i pick IM/Sent i need someone who is anti-cable; spiral or my own cable…
I’ll let you guys have your own opinion. but to me Storm/IM/Psy is the best IM team. Think of what storm/psy does for magneto, it’s nearly the same with IM.
Storm for pinning the opponent making it easier to getting in; DHCing - eaither to add higher damage or handling your toughest matches… Psylocke for setting up the infinites and GB. It’s a one hit killer just like MSP… but slower.
all psy does for both magneto and ironman is give you a mindless infinite setup.

psy is good for mag but not as good for IM,
why?, because ironman doesn’t have the speed or mobility to make psy as effect as she is with Mag.
Ironman is a Slower, and less mobial character than mag, so there for just like alot of the other mid tiers, he needs the rocks to hold/chip/set up shit for him, besides, that he gets grab mix ups cause of the rocks.
Hp grab+ rocks gives u a free infinite.
The BEST IM team MUST consist of IM/xxx/Doom. BTW i like IM/Cyc/Doom.

ironman builds bar. If your good with him, you can usually build 5 in no time. Cable benefits the most bar building seeing how he can kill a character or destroy your assist. If you fuck up once, its game. Cyke\storm\sent cant take advantage of 5 bars like cable can.
doom lets ironman get multiple overheads and mixups. If any of those should hit, its an infinite. Drones dont give you this. Ironman is good but he’s kind of slow. He needs an assist that can pin the opponent for a while. Doom does that.
like I said before cisco, your lack of skill is forcing you to pick certain assist to help make up for it. You dont need psy. Cable pratically does the same thing as psy for ironman except that cable can take advantage over the 5 bars. Psy cant.
if your so worried about anti cable PICK CABLE. lol fight fire with fire except youll probably have the upper hand in this case since you come in with 5. You can lose 80% with your cable and still comeback because you have meter to burn.

It’s pretty typical actually for an ironman player to “graduate” up to a better assist when the ironman play can combo on their own.
it’s usually from psylocke to an assist that has better blockstun and is easier to cover…
psylocke’s a good assist for IM if you’re still starting early on up to intermediate play of IM , IMO… but she won’t be that strong to cover up for IM when fighting against top players.

Pyslocke for Iron Man sucks ass. Ive only been playing 1 year now, but I can say I could probably beat your IM/Storm/Pylocke team. If Doom or Cable or Sent were on the team, or even perhaps Cyke, then you would have a chance, actually you would OWN me. But Pyslocke, what the hell can she do when I snap her in or she is your only character left?
The same thing happens when I snap in either your Omega Red, your Silver Samurai or your Anakaris. lol
The problem with using MSP against teams like that is that you don’t know which character to snap in, if any. 
Psylocke is fuckin nasty, if you dont know how to play her thats your problem not mine

:P, thts because I am a biased. Its your choice, I just don’t like Psylocke, same as u dont like any of my three. Its just preference. And I dont really “praise” them … just let them be known. I know that these 3 aren’t favored when fighting MSP, I know my limits.
I like teh IM/Sent/Doom. but yeah, has trouble against cable.
Rape squad, isn’t that storm/IM/sent? really good…the two best god-tiers included. great assists for storm whatever she wants to do (runaway, keepaway, rushdown) awesome dhc’s.

IM can do his thang with good help from sent and/or storm. and then sent for the last character (if it comes to that) is good.
but Sent has a pretty good assist with him if he’s second (or two assists) and some good combo’s. and sent can dhc to IM better than IM can to sent. well at least easier (doesn’t have to have a proton cannon connect). and then IM for the last character is pretty good. get one infinite and you could probably make a lot of comebacks I.E. infinite>proton cannon>unescapable unblockable>infinite>proton cannon>repeat (which has been done to me too many times)
mag/im/doom is nice.
Just wondering what you people think of the team Cable/Strider/Doom and what it ranks among other teams.
And lets say if I’m the one using that team (Lol this is my main team)
Average CAble user (Pretty much I’m able to do kick kick kick TK AHVB 30% of the time)
Average Strider (I can do guard break but I can’t control strider that well yet.)
Below Average Dr.Doom (Haven’t learned much with Dr.Domm besides jumping and mahing hard punch while doing super jump air photon)
By the way I usually pick type b cable, type r strider, type b doom.
It’s rough. Cable and Strider both eat meter like ramen noodles. But if you catch a break with an early lead, you might pull it off.
