I know itās tough to accept that a frigginā anime adaptation of all things is a Cinematic masterpeice. I myself HATED the original anime and the trailers for this werenāt particularly great.
I only saw it because i was stuck in town unexpectedly and needed time to killā¦I had no idea i was going to be blown away like that. Love this movie!

I also still donāt believe youāve seen it so many times. It feels like a really bad gimmick.

Hidden easter eggs on DVD/ Blue Ray releases. A couple of these are interesting. #1 shows how far we have come with CGI.
Weird? The movie is amazing! With one of the most compelling & admirable lead characters iāve seen in years. The closest movie i can take of prior to this, was 2017ās Logan, and prior to that iām drawing a blank.
As for the number of times iāve seen it? Iāve actually MEMORIZED the Perfect moments to take a piss break without missing much. One of them being after the villian kills that one guy (āno one is greater than the gameā). I leave immediately after and by the time i come back, that sweet underwater scene has just started. Perfect!

Has anyone seen that Alita movie yet? Thinking I might check it out. Iāll probably just wait for it to come to Netflix, though.

Itās okay, not everyone can recognize greatness. I feel like i could write a 13-page essay on how much i love that movie.
And i could stand to see it a few more times actually, bringing the total to an even 10 viewings but, money getting a tad tight. It wonāt take me long to get back on track again but, by then the movie will probably have ended itās run.
Oh well. Thereās always the home video releases. Definitively buying it on Blu-Ray!!!

I keep forgetting how ridiculous stacked the next few months is for movies coming out. Work disability program gave me until the 1st of June to come back to work (though I can extend it). I may just spend that time vegging out on movies Iāve bought on iTunes and going to the movies a bunch while I recover. Cause I have no intentions of going back to work as soon as I get discharged from the hospital. Thatās just stupid. I just donāt know if I have enough cash to last until June. Lol.
My parents said theyd help with my bills, groceries and stuff if they need to but I donāt want them to even remotely help me out in those ways. I havenāt needed them for that since I was 18. Donāt plan on going back to that kind of dependence anytime soon.

Iām actually somewhat happy that superhero/tentpole movie releases are more spreadout through the year now.
Valentines weekend has been a great time forsci fi /action imo in the last 4 years oddly enough.
2015- Kingsman
2016- Deadpool
2017 - John Wick 2
2018 - BP
2019 - Alita

Kinda strange that with ALL the stuff coming out, the only thing Iām hyped for right now is Jordan Peeleās āUsā (which has been getting good reviews from an SXSW screening). And I donāt even like horror movies.
If you had told me Peele from Key & Peele would be making horror movies I actually care to see a couple years ago, Iād walk out of the room. But here we are.
