"Movie And A Show" Thread: Popcorn Optional

I ask again: Of Cena in drag or Maleficent?

Tolkien trailer numbah 2ā€¦

A man in a dress is always disturbing. A respectable man in a dress is borderline traumatizing.

Says you.

Apparently, they are putting the entire catalog on the streaming service. Netflix wonā€™t be done, but the install base is going to have an extreme spike.

iTunes had the blade trilogy on sale for $15 so picked that up.

Wonder if theyā€™ll include Song of the South.

Fuck Disney.

What i think is cool about this concept is, that would have definitely been the case if child Clark Kent turned out to be a deranged psycho. Who could stop him? Heā€™d be a rampaging little terror exactly like that.

Those What-if Superman stories are usually dope. Earth got massively lucky that the Kentā€™s and what little messages Supeā€™s parents left to him, stress those core values.

I know im late, but thereā€™s a whole fuckin lot of cameos in Wreck It Ralph 2. I love it, didnā€™t expect to see Marvel

iTunes has Mars Attacks! on sale for $5

Picked that up with the quickness. :sunglasses:

My issue with WIR2 was it just looked like Disney blowing itself. Like ā€œLOOK AT ALL THESE IPā€™s WE OWN! WEā€™RE THE GREATEST!ā€

It also imo is just a movie that didnā€™t need to be made. The definition of a sequel to a movie that didnā€™t need a sequel

Wait till Frozen 2 comes out.

Donā€™t even get me started on that shit.

Yeah I didnā€™t like Ralph breaks the internet. Lacked all the charm that made the first one good. The second one was just cringy story and unnecessary cameos galore.

Well i saw Alita Battle Angel yet again today ā€¦for the 6th time.

Holy shit, i thought iā€™d be bored of it by now but, if anything? Itā€™s only gotten BETTER with repeat viewings! So fucking Good! God bless James Cameron for being so persistent. Forget Avatar, this is the series he needs to focus on.

And all the whiny SJWs & NPCs talk about there needing more strong female leads? Well there you have it: Alita is THE quintessential Great female Hero! Just like Ripely, Sarah Connor, etc.

Yet SJWs all want to pass Alita by and get behind Captain Marvel instead? That soul less, assembly line trash?! No sir.

Wreck it Ralph 2 was my biggest disappointment last year.

The more you talk about it the more I actually doubt you that youā€™ve seen it that many times and like it that much. Like it seems like part blind fan boy, part troll and part shit posting.

Believe what you want. The movie was fantastic all the way through, and i have no regrets for seeing it that many times.

Character development was just Gold also! Iā€™m always astounded how it feels as though weā€™ve been following the character for years, despite only being a 2 hour movie. THAT is how you develop a character!

Saw Alita again for the 8th time today! I think iā€™m finally done lol.

Alita wasnā€™t just a badass movie, or good anime adaptation, it wasā€¦ Enchanting! I can easily forgive James Cameronā€™s silly avatar obsession and itā€™s 22 sequels that are always ā€œcurrently in developmentā€. Because he took time out of that crap to give us a True cinematic GEM!!!

No spoilers but, that end scene with the mirrorā€¦it getā€™s me every time! Such a tragically beautiful combination of a broken heart, mixed with the Burning desire for Vengeance. A thousand words without anything actually being saidā€¦

Yes iā€™m talking about an anime adaptation like itā€™s frigginā€™ Masterpeice Cinemaā€¦because it IS.
