I have multiple lists, but my preferences shift like the blocks in 2013’s ‘The Zero Theorem’.
I did not like Heath Ledger’s nihilistic Joker, but enjoyed the hell out of ‘Batman Begins’ and the game adaptation. It brought back the intellectual property after a string of terrible films (and games), so I look back upon it fondly.
In no particular order: Spirited Away (2001), Toy Story trilogy (1995/1999/2010), The Big Lebowski (1998), Inglourious Basterds (2009), Superman (1978), A Girl Walks Home Alone at Night (2014), Birdman (2014), Crimson Peak (2015), Maleficent (2014), Frozen (2013), and several others that I’m sure I’m forgetting.

To this day, the first MK flick is the BEST videogame movie of all time!
It wasn’t just a good adaptation with the spirit of the games in-tact, it was also a Good action movie in it’s own right. Even those who knew nothing about the games loved it.
It really should be used as a model of sorts for future video game movies on how to get it RIGHT.
