Also probably going to see Hustlers and Ready or Not on Wednesday. I’ve been putting off ready or not for a hot minute due to being so insanely busy.
Edit: ok. Guess I’m not seeing ready or not. Next week my usual theater I go to only has playtime’s at 10PM. I don’t want to see it that badly. No one else in the area is still screening it either.

Ready or Not is good, but like you said, not worth that hassle. You can just wait to rent it on Amazon or something.

that the reason they decided to “anime” Alita’s face might not be for the reasons we thought. we all thought the reason was to anime her face. cartoon it. make it relatable to the anime/manga fans.

i think i know why.
i think its because if they make sequels, the actress which is Rosa Salazar i think, would age over time and stop looking like a young girl. especially if years go by and james cameron is a great film maker but he is also a slow one. he never cranks movies out quick.
a 2nd or 3rd film could take a decade to complete. and Rosa wont look like a teen anymore.

and yea they can “cgi” her face in 2 and 3 to make it appear teen, if they hadnt anime her face, but anime face makes it way easier to solve the actress aging over time problem.

That shit’s been dead. I actually feel proud. That’s the one “let me take full advantage of this before these people realize what a horrible mistake they’ve made” thing I’ve been able to capitalize on in life. And capitalize I did. But they caught some sense around the time Infinity War came out, and it was downhill from there.
I never knew about it until I learned they were hemorrhaging money and were going into bankruptcy.
That’s the thing. By the time I hear about most “too good to be true” deals, they’re on the downslide. This is the one time I was able to catch it before that. I caught the shit out of it too. Those fuckers will probably beat my ass if they see me on the street. Please believe it.
BTW, I saw Hustlers. I didn’t see it just because of J-Lo; I didn’t care about J-Lo stripping because I knew it was going to be on some tease shit. But a well-reviewed movie she’s in is like a rare pokemon, so I went. It’s not winning movie of the year for me, but it was way better than it had any right to be.
Also, though I didn’t come to the movie just for J-Lo, good god she was hot in stripper wear. I felt my soul getting hard. I didn’t even know that was possible.

Rewatching “Drive”. I liked the movie but never remembered why. This second time around, it’s clear. This movie is pretty damn solid for a lot of reasons.

I liked The Bourne Identity a lot. Subtle cool background music, foreign languages spoken, good action scenes, decent script. I’ve watched it plenty of times
