I haven’t been following the new MK movie at all. I thought shit would stall like it always does. Has there been any indication of the plot? All I’ve heard is that there will be fatalities, and casting news like this.
I’m asking about the plot because the last time the MK movie was in the news, there was a plot where a bagboy somehow gets into the MK tournament or something. If they’re moving forward with that, I’m out automatically.

I think Asano will make a good Raiden. No idea who Sisi Stringer is but she’s cute.

Another part of my childhood dies.
It’s weird that I never knew his name but he was one of the driving forces that inspired me to draw/want a career as a cartoonist when I was a kid. Along with Kevin Eastman and Peter Laird.

I hate to be an asshole, but this sounds bad for the new MK movie. The end of that video (watch it, it’s a good breakdown of how MKA came to be) reveals that the same people who wrote/produced MKA are involved here. Sure, they’re in EP and DP roles, but it still doesn’t bode that well unless they’ve learned from their mistakes.

Had to watch it twice when it came out because I was at a summer camp. Wasn’t upset to see it twice.
I watched that show with my nephew, I actually liked it. It doesnt seem insulting to my intelligence

Stories really need to have beginnings, middles, and ends. They did an “ok” job with the Matrix. I don’t need or want this.

I personally thought the original matrix was garbage. I have only seen snippets of the sequels.
I liked the first one, and the second and third were OK. I need to watch them again as an adult. Some of the themes probably hit better now than they did back then.

First one was good but like Tarantino said, the fact that sequels exist kinda makes the first one a little worse. It was fine just as standalone movie. There are a lot of good concepts explored and they go down the toilet once Zion and other shit gets introduced.
