Most useful RD setups

so no one really answered my question how in detail do you guys go about the dash kara demon i’ve been able to get a few times but no where as consistent as i had it a few days ago.

basically just wonder if you hold the forward after the dashes, go to df while doing the f.mp or go back to neutral idk what i’m fucking up on all of a sudden

here it is for the 20th time

-> ->, lp, lp -> lk, hp
drum the index and middle finger for the lp, lp, for starters, try dashing and getting the lp, lp in the dash, then when you land do the rest of the demon input ( ->, lk, hp )

dog i said earlier i can do dash demon no problem i was talking about dash KARA demon

specifially do you hold forward after the dash and f.mp and do df lk, hp or go back to neutral after dash or whatever

Forward, Forward, Neutral, LP, LP (both LP buffered in dash), Forward MP, LK, FP

What happens exactly when you missed it?

One thing: the third forward has to be hold, at least until MP (and even until LK to be sure IMO).

I always use TKD now but i did it exactly like Ryad said except i hold last forward even after LK (this didn’t change anything, just a (bad?) habit)…

Most people do dash demon and dash kara demon in almost identical ways. Saves you the trouble of learning it twice.

thanks for the help guys i got it down again now i just gotta get tkd down

i find my my self doing dash demons & reset demons most the time (usually dont use demons because its not all about demons)

Imo, Doing the two punches first and then forward+ MP will be better because the Demon will come out faster unless You can do TKD Flawlessly.

But I use Dash -> TKD Straight Just because When you dash you have to see what they’re doing.

i’ve taken to doing jabs during all my dashes just in case i catch em slipping or i spy something that moves em back like a swing back blow

That is very smart

I do the same sometimes, mostly because my opponents can hear me tapping those lp, lp, expecting the demon

I don’t know why I didn’t think of it earlier, but I found out that you can buffer the two jabs during the close mp, which makes the kara demon easier. I’m sure all the veterans know this, but I didn’t see it anywhere on this thread so I thought I’d put it up for the new people.

:mp: (during the :mp: animation :lp:,:lp:), :r:+:mp:, :lk:, :hp:

That’s gotta be one of the first demons setups i learned. I don’t use it anymore tho, idk why. I should start again, just to mix things up. Especially on emu’s. Unthrowable f+mp:rock: if any1 is expecting a tick throw

BTW does anyone use the j.hk (so the j.hk is performed on the way up) land not hitting the opponent and buffer the demon in the jump?

I do.

I prefer the jumping hp into RD, especially in corner. Whiff that mofo. I also believe it can cross-up your opponent. J.Hp -> RD= GDLK!

You’d be lucky to not get hit out of the air before you land

mp x qcf + mk -> mp x qcf + mk -> mp xx demon.

Fuck off. Raging Orororo juggles were banned remember?
