It’s a pretty sad state of affairs when that intro is better than both the MK movies so far… to be honest I really hated MK:DA and MK:D, and I’m not holding out much hope for this. Maybe by just cramming enough content in it they can give it that fun factor that IMO has been sorely missing this generation (you too, MK4).
Even with my renewed faith, I don’t think the game will be that good.
But man, I just loved it when Stryker punched Mileena in the face.
Kahn with the hammer. The best part was the 4th swing. It blew someone away, but the way Kahn was swinging made it look like it was an accident. Like the shit was just recoil and Darrius was in the wrong place at the wrong time.
Listen to Cyrax when Sheeva tosses him off. It’s a regular MK3 sound, but it sounded like “SCREW YOU!”

Would it be safe to say that this game will be amusingly bad? I still play Deception now and again for cheap laughs and a good time killing session. I haven’t minded them since DA really but I know they’re broken as hell.
I hope the Astaroth looking flame guy at the end of the intro is playable, he looks mean as fuck!
It’ll be that kind of good-bad at the least. It can’t be worse than Deception.
And yes, Blaze (the inferno dude) is playable. He’s one of the four people in this game who are locked from the beginning. It is true that everyone else is available right off the bat.
