Hi people, wanted to know, is there a tournament in Montreal soon ? if not ,would anyone like to work on one, we could take each others suggestions and make a cool one all together , anyone wants in ? we could help each other and decide on which games we’d play and so on , keep me updated .
Haaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahahahahahahahahahaha.
Nothing wrong with getting the SSBM community to show a little interest in your games, guys. I would be thrilled if you all wanted to pick up Smash and decided to join our community. The more the merrier :).
Wise words, Smokey. I’ll be starting basics soon. I’m glad you said that actually, shows that you guys have some common sense after all.
I look forward to meeting you guys sometime in the future.
Sounds like an insult, but I’ve never played Power Stone, so I won’t be quick to judge ;). Them’s fightin’ words?
Un conseil entre smashers … prend pas les gens de ce forum specialement ceux de mtl au serieu parce que tu vas finir par vouloir aller chez eux les tuer:rofl:
who is this animeclown guy? I don’t recognize this thread anymore
space invaders
Hey don’t take it personal
What I said was by no means an insult directed at the SMB players but merely my opinion of the game which should hold no credibility since i’ve yet to play it and you guys are more than welcome to the montreal street fighter scene
like you said the more the merrier so we’d be fools to deter new blood from the joining the scene
btw if you guys want to come to the gatherings you should talk to sandman he’s the host
Oh well I’m going to stick to Smokey’s advice right now. I was able to play with Chester today and he was able to show me some things, like how to cancel some moves into others. I can cancel a Shoryuken into a special now (by the way, Ken is my way to go :P), but for some reason I couldn’t cancel a single hadouken. I suck
Anyways, now that I know what I’m facing, I’m going to be sticking to perfecting some basics before jumping the gun. Chet’s going to introduce me to 3rd Strike, arcade machine style. I’ll practice the basic of the basics and try to master them, and take what I know to these gatherings (we’ll probably check them out sometime in the near future). The rest comes with time
…My thumb hurts after doing so many freakin’ quarter circles on the gamepad, haha.
You should see David Sirlin’s ST tutorial on CCC2.It’s available at combovideos.com.
It should cover up most of your basics even though some of them may not apply to 3s because of parrying but on the general,it helps.
Thongboy bebop’s tutorial vid on 3s should be good as well.Available on the same site I listed above.
Yo , c ki le out of towner ki veut faire MAT ??
Nagata Lock II
well…look likes no one is going to organised M-a-T this year ?
your name should be funny clown
