Beikoku Taichou and I are coming back in late August (I’ll be back in Billings on the 12th, as planned, then heading off to Missoula around the 20th) so I’m down for doing anything, really.
We’re gonna be playing SF4 quite a bit this next year, so I’d be down for starting some tourneys or something.
Pizza and I are very close to getting a tournament figured out. We are very close to a venue (probably find out today or later this week). Also, there is a good chance we are going to NW Majors. Anybody else have plans for NWM?
For a quick poll what is everyone’s console and games of choice? I am not sure whether to host on 360 or PS3, so your input is helpful.
I play on PS3, but I have a feeling 360 is generally the more popular console. BlazBlue and SF4 are probably going to be my two main games for a while. As much as I <3 HDR, I just can’t commit the time I want to it anymore.
Alright, casuals going on at my place this Friday (8-14) from 4-5ish to whenever. If you want to come, send me a pm so I can get you address, phone, etc. I’ll have pizza and drinks, my ps3, and 3 sticks. More TV’s and systems possible depending on turnout.
Also, tournament coming up very soon at Hastings probably. Its been quasi-confirmed; our contact went on vacation so things got left hanging for a bit. More info when thats official.
I’m from Helena. Outside of my friend (who just moved), I think we’re the only two people in the city that play. We have a pretty sweet little gaming store that’s setup to do tournaments at a moments notice ( http://www.gamepods.net/arcade.html ).
I’m mostly calling for new blood. SF4 is our first fighting game, but we’ve gotten really into it and plan to go to EVO next year despite being terrible.
llcoolwhitey is my XBL gamer tag, I main Honda but I’m halfway competent with 80% of the cast.
I also have the ability to build sticks from scratch if people were interested and needed help. I can’t build the boxes, but I have done several padhacks on 360 models. I won’t charge.
We had 10-12 last week, and expect 16+ on this coming friday, last week we had a team 4v4 match as well as an 8 person double elim tourney, Lots of fun, we play 8-12 hours at a time so the drive is well worth it, and im sure if its one or two people i could even set you up in missoula for the night. Anyways, SF4 Club Missoula is MAD HYPE
I too am a Missoula player and take part on the 5v5 team! We really wanna play other cities and fight new players! The Missoula Fight club has been incredibly successful so far and we hope to have even more interested in the coming weeks. If you’re from Missoula or anywhere close, at least come check it out. Even if you aren’t experienced, we usually set up a beginner station for fun! Hope to see a few more this coming Friday!
I can bring over a 360 and an arcade stick. I’m not sure if I will be able to make it this Friday because my arcade stick is out of commission. If this becomes a regular weekly thing, I don’t see why I wouldn’t go.
