Balrog doesn’t bother me at all when playing Blanka especially if you can get him to walk towards you. I very rarely find a Balrog that makes the matchup feel like 3.5/6.5. I’d say it’s pretty close to 5/5. It could be just the fact that I have played many Rogs and know the matchup. Cammy is extremely hard for me. I think I just need to be more patient when she gets in to pressure. The other match that is hard for me is the Blanka mirror. I’ve always avoided the mirror because it’s just not as fun to play but now I realize that I need to practice it.
Definitely agreed. Blanka cannot inch up without taking a scissor kick to the face that is safe on block. I just started playing Bison and can easily beat most Blanka’s. Blanka’s mix up is not nearly as effective when an ex hand can easily escape it. As Bison, try to keep it on the ground and just push Blanka back when he try’s to move in. Blanka is not free for Bison but has to be patient to win.

Hey guys just introducing myself to the Minnesota fighting scene.
My name is Dara and i’ve been competitively playing counter strike 1.6 for about 7 years now and have made it to the top in many different leagues(cal,cevo,esea) and placed in many different lans .
I have always been interested in the fighting scene but never really got seriously into it until i recently found out that EVO will be taking place at the same time i will be taking my vacation over at Vegas. I then thought to myself, what the heck, mind as well compete at this tournament since i’m there! So for the next 2 months i will be putting in time to at least put a fight there and not embarrass myself haha. And yesterday i have recently bought my fight stick and it feels like i’m playing a completely different game but i know it will help me out in the long run. I really hope by july that evolution will not be my first tournament and i will try to attend some local tournies if i’m able to.
