Will be attending GnG Tuesday for casuals. Will also be picking up my copy of Red Dead for those on PSN who wish to start a posse…and start robbin’ some banks.
I think I’m finally starting to hit my stride with Hakan. I’m starting to win matches and I haven’t even touched the Crisco combo’s yet. Can’t wait to try him out against the rest of you guys. Still, part of me wonders if these wins are due to me genuinely outplaying the other guy of if he just doesn’t know the match-up.
well… it doesn’t beat it but it has throw invulnerability. Thanks for the enlightenment Bubbaloo. Caleb taught me that one. Now I need to pit my Abel against Tones to see what I need to improve on.

Told you Guy would move up! I’ll also go out on a limb and say that Makoto will not escape the bottom tier - she will be near the bottom when Arcadia releases its list as well. Guy could make it all the way to lower mid-tier - if you can do the hard links (that no one in the US will ever learn) he gets pretty beast.

GGs to you as well. A bit sad seeing that I still can’t get my Blanka hang-ups out of the way, but at least he’s beginning to look competitive against some of the Blanka’s around here. I was happy to finally showcase my Bison last night though, I’ve been putting some work in with him recently.
Yeah, in my opinion, Bison is one of Blanka’s toughest matchups hands down. Bison and Balrog are Blanka’s worst in my book. Cammy comes in at a close third.
It was actually nice to lose to you. I needed to get to bed! 
I still can’t figure out why I can only join 50-60% of the rooms/matches I try. It’s annoying as hell. I swear I could join more with regular SF4. Maybe it’s not on my end.
for some reason I feel so much more confident using Cammy against Blanka than Balrog. I guess because I don’t have to hold a charge when using cammy to punish blanka@!
Yeah, I’m having a good deal of trouble joining rooms as well, especially in Ranked. Sometimes I’ll try to join 5 or 6 rooms before I get one that actually lets me in. I also dislike how they merged the error messages into a single message. Formerly it would tell you if the room was full (i.e. someone else joined a split second before you did) or if it was a connection error. Now it just says that it couldn’t connect. It annoys me that they display rooms for you to connect to that you can’t actually connect to.
I’ve also had a few instances where I was unable to connect when invited into an Endless room. In some cases it might have been that I took my time in responding and the host left. However, in other instances it simply didn’t let me join, but let me join the second time they invited.

It’s funny you say this because I always have problems against Blanka. I have trouble reacting to his shenanigans and that crossup is tricky for me to escape. I’m curious, what do you think makes Bison a tricky match for Blanka?
Simple. Safe scissor kicks and being able to punish almost everything Blanka has on block. Bison takes most of Blanka’s ball game out, just like Cammy and Rog (who can also punish Blanka balls on hit!). Bison has really good pokes as well and makes it VERY hard for Blanka to get out of the corners.
